Actually, any American is at a greater risk these days of being "assasinated" by a bullet from the enemy. The President is not really at a great risk then the common laborer, who has zero protection around them.
So, to answer your question, No I don't think he will get assasiated nor an attempt to assasiated him before he is out of office.

Every person in power, or who is known, has even the slightest risk of being assasinated or injured by another opposing individual.
With a political party HIGHLY opposing Bush, not able to take into consideration all the good things he has done or is doing, is only noticing the bad ones. It happens with every political party in charge.
WIth Latino Americans opposing his illegal immigration ideas, liberals and "hippies" his Iraq war ideas, and others including the ones stated above, his taxing or other ideas, it is even more possible. And by other I mean anyone who disagrees with him.
Most of the things I agree with him on, while ceratin "smaller" things I don't... so I guess you could call me a conservatist leaning centrist... adleast with what the world is today...
Yet, I would see no reason to kill him unless he was a tyrant which is highly impossible in The US becasue of the balance and checks of powers.
I dont' know what will happen, but i am saying IT IS possible that he might be assasinted... I just hope not.

Unfortunately, Yes. In the past 4 years I have never seen such disrespect and hatred of a president as now. The USA has become totally polarized and I think the current and future presidents are all at much greater risk of assasination than ever before. The next 10 years don't bode well for any president, regardless of party.

Given that there has been an attempt of some sort on just about every President in the last 60 years, yes he is at risk. Any man with his power will be at risk to some extent, regardless of the popularity of his actions since there will always be some nutter who wants to make his mark on history. One man with a rile can override majority opinion with ease.
The Secret Service tend to do a good job protecting the President though, so I do not expect the risk of assasination to be that likely.

He's under no greater risk of being assassinated than any other president. He's a target but he's got the best protection in the world.
That being said, the absolute worst thing that can happen to the Democratic Party's chances in '08 are an attempt on the current President's life. That is an absolute nightmare political scenario.

ALL Presidents and people of power are at risk. There will always be some fanatical nut job who disagrees with their policies and set out to kill them. Why do you think all of those well dressed guys with machine guns and rocket launchers hang with the president all of the time?
I think the white house actually has a separate phone line just for assasination threats.

Probably not. Most of the nut-jobs that would do it agree with Bush. I don't wish death on anyone but I think the Bush administration should be put on trial, have their assets frozen and be held accountable for every "mistake" that has happened over this term. I can't think of one good thing this administration has accomplished. Let's de-classify everything and find out what the hell has been going for the last 6 years.

Short answer? No. He knows he is not the most popular guy in the world right now. So he is not going to put himself at risk. Even if he wanted to do something that put him in a position where something like that could happen, I don't think the Secret Service would allow it.

Of course! All people in positions of power are at risk. Is it likely? No. But I think that it could happen. There's already been many threats on Bush's life, and they'll keep on coming. So, yes, it's possible, but not likely.

I doubt it. Personally I think he's a good guenine guy. I think he's made mistakes but nothing that warrents assasination. I think with someone like George Bush and any President in general you'd be hard pressed to ifnd a way to assasinate him. It seems doubtful to me he'd be killed, especially by a disdruntled american. Maybe in an envoy to Iraq or Saudi Arabia, but that's a big maybe.
