If "clean or green" energy was available in Nashville, there would be no need to ration kilowatt hours. Such energy is available where I live ( Oregon).
Al Gore claims to live energy neutral. I see no reason to doubt this claim. Gore has always been honest and straight forward.

No. And neither would Bush or Cheney, but that's not the point. The point is that Gore is the one who stood up on (inter)national television and congratulated the entertainment industry on a "green" Oscar show. The same industry that accounts for over 20% of the air pollution in the LA area because they refuse to convert their production vehicles to cleaner fuels. The point isn't who is more wasteful, it's who is pretending not to be.

A better question would be, if Bush/Cheney enacted the policies Gore proposes, how much cleaner would the air get?
But, the answer is probably no. Gore does not push for rationing. He pushes for a zero carbon footprint policy.
