and do you think he could win the presidential race? He definitely has the attention of the college age crowd, much like Bill Clinton did.

Romney is a flip flopper, McCain is a brownnoser, and Giuliani is a mayor with no foreign/domestic policy experience. Fred Thompson is the best the Republicans have got, but what happens if he doesn't run? Who will you vote for? Will you still vote?

Why can't we have even one candidate, for president or local or state government who will speak to real issues, and take an unpopular stand on current society? Why doesn't even one candidate take a stand and say "This corruption is wrong, and it will not continue. The military-industrial complex is wrong and I will end it. Whatever happened to truth and honesty when dealing with the people of this republic?". These views are just examples and may not speak to the wrongs that we all see in society. But the sentiment is the same. What happened to straight shooting, strong worded candidates that produce change?
Do candidates who speak to the masses, and speak of peace and truth, and honesty get sidelined or railroaded out of the mainstream by the coporations and people afraid to lose there grip on what they have? Or is America no longer capable of producing people who are uncorruptable?

I am an ultra-liberal, damn near on the brink of communism, man and I would never put a woman in a position where she would have to make that choice. At the same time, I feel that I should have no say over what a woman does with her body. I do not support abortion, but would not vote against it. This sounds ambivalent. Why do Republicans make us liberals seem like animals when it comes to abortion?

DOVER, N.H. — Mitt Romney's visit to New Hampshire started on a sour note Tuesday when a restaurant patron declared he would not vote for the Republican presidential contender because of his faith.

"I'm one person who will not vote for a Mormon," Al Michaud of Dover shouted at Romney when the former Massachusetts governor approached him inside Harvey's Bakery. Romney was kicking off the second of two day's worth of campaign visits in the lead primary state.

Romney kept smiling as he asked, "Can I shake your hand anyway?"

Michaud replied, "No."

Michaud later told reporters he was not "a right-winger," alluding to some evangelical Christians who have compared Romney's faith to a cult. Instead, Michaud stated he was "a liberal."

He said he planned to vote for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., should she win the Democratic presidential nomination.

I think the majority of Americans are pretty moderate. However, each party is represented by their extreme fringe which causes division and lack of understanding. If people would stop looking to party leaders on issues and think for themselves we would all be better off. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I think if she was elected the United States would breed new terrorist networks because she cant wait to pull out of Iraq. I was told yesterday by my neighbor that if Hilary runs, that 80 percent chance she will win. I just wanted to know how many people would actually vote for her. Would u>?

Corporations are to blame here. Why are we not seeing legislation that addresses the illegality of corporations hiring these people, and for a mere 50 cents a day? You can't blame people for trying to make a better life for themselves even if it doesn't seem so to us. You can however, blame people who for 'provoke a rotweiler' by 'throwing red meat on the other side of the fence'. There is no other way to address this problem, regardless of what our intellectually challenged president says. I don't want to hear its about money, power, politics, etc. I just want to know why our politicians and the people who elect them are so stupid? This is not a rhetorical question, but an invitation for those who want to take responsibility for their's or their contemporaries' actions.

I left an abusive husband who refused to allow me to work. I went on Welfair for 2&1/2 years. My then 5 year old son fell down the stairs of our second floor apt. His little head hit the wall and he was knocked out. We took him to the hospital. He had a concussion. There was this older man there who very loudly made a statement about "Lazy people on welfair " getting free health care! (I was going to Jr. College) I told that man that if he would give me his address I would gladly repay what ever he felt I owed him for the hospital saving my baby's life as sonn as I got a job! Of course he would not give me his address!
