The Republicans lost control of both houses of congress because 5-8% of the voters came out to vote in the last election against anything associated with Bush. There are many more "Hillary Haters" out than that.

I must confess, I am a "Hillary Hater". I have not voted in 20 years, but I will make it a point to vote straight ticket republican if Hillary is the dem candidate.

If it were a choice between Hillary and the Devil, I'd chose her boss.

Quoting Wikipedia:

"Supporters and critics have likened Obama's popular image to a cultural Rorschach test, a neutral persona on which people can project their personal histories and aspirations. Obama's own self-narrative reinforces what a May 2004 New Yorker magazine article described as his "everyman" image".."

Do you agree with this statement, and whether it may be a factor to the seemingly growing popularity of Obama, despite all the controversies that loam around him ? Looking at it with an objective mind, it seems to me that many factors may contribute to this phenomenon, including the current events suffered by the current administration, the apparently revolutionary tone that Obama employs in his speeches, and maybe even the Internet as a new key player to the whole election campaigning process. Regardless of my own political choice for 2008, or yours, I believe we can agree that this is indeed a phenomenon to be studied. What's your thoughts ?

Thank you in advance!

If you have asked yourself this question, as I have please take a look at this video from Barack Obama back in June. Even if you havent questioned it and want to "figure out" what this guy stands for you owe it to yourself to educate yourself about all the candidates to make an informed decision. Please check it out. http://www.barackobama.com/issues/faith/

Just a theory I had. I want to see if this plays a role in making the presidency admit that it's erred. This would mean that this is a pattern over time that has taken its worst turn in Bush's Iraq war policy. Give examples please.

Hillary: Will tell you what you want to hear and then deal with the fallout once she's President.

Obama: Wouldn't dare be running for President with his resume if he was a white guy. Two years in the Senate and a bunch of legislature time? Please.

Giuliani: If he can't keep his word to his spouse, why should we believe anything he tells US?

McCain: Who says "tar baby" and doesn't know that's racist? Please.

provisions of the constitution which protect us, and that includes if they supported and voted for the Patiot acts 1 and 2 (Also remember, that congress actually never read Patiot Act 1, all ten thousand pages which were voted on withijn a few days of delivery to congress) Also, give their part affilliation.

More Americans should know who is REALLY anti-American, by having voted anti-constutition.

From what I read Obama has been a lawmaker for the last 10 years. I'm sorry guys, but in my opinion Washington DC isn't the only place to gain experience in politics. Both Clinton and Edwards have been lawmakers for less.

I clearly think this inexperience claim is just another false swift boat attempt. Do you agree?

Many people left the Bush Administratration who said at the time they were leaving to pursue other interests including Colin Powell.Slowly it is coming out this was not the case with many.If Colin Powell were to run,now bear in mind he is a very smart person, would you vote for him as President or would you not just because he is associated with the Bush administration?Or would your reason be just because he's a Republican?
