Sometimes I wonder if Republicans regret helping George into the WH and I wonder if some of them wish somehow he was a " DEMOCRAT" president instead.
Instead things are way out of whack and only progressing further in the same direction. It will be an interesting 18 months.

The most cursory glance at federal and state election laws will show you how stacked the deck is against third-party candidates. In 2004, two third-party presidential candidates (Cobb - Green and Badnarik - Libertarian) were ARRESTED for trying to participate in a presidential debate.

Clearly the powers-that-be don't want to give up their hold on power, and feel threatened by fresh ideas that third-party candidates bring to the table. How can we break this cycle and affect real change in the way our governments are run?

According to a new Harris Poll, 50% of Americans would not vote for Hillary. That is crazy, it's not even good amongst Democrats...and she's their frontrunner. Should the Democratic party be really worried about her winning the nomination? Do you think someone else will win the nomination? Why are so many people unwilling to vote for Hillary? I know, a lot of questions. I think it's funny also, because it has been brought up that 30% of Americans wouldn't vote for a Mormon (re: Romney) and how that would hinder him, but this is much worse, because it's personally about her, something much more difficult to overcome.

Why do I keep hearing that Obama can't be elected because the US is too racist? Isn't it possible that a lot of us just don't agree with his policies? His color means nothing to me, yet when he loses, it will be because people like me just aren't ready for a black president?

And the same goes for Hillary. I don't hate her because she's a woman, I hate her because she's Hillary.

During every election cycle, the candidates attempt to court the youth vote, either thinking it will make a difference, or at least wanting to appear as if they care.

History shows you can have all the "Rock the Vote" rallies you want, but youths still don't vote in large enough numbers to make a difference.

Why is it that so many young people have no problem complaining about the President on an online forum, but won't actually vote?

I believe that 2008 will bring the US a president like we've never seen before. But will it be a black man, or a white woman? Senator Obama looks like the brightest star to me, but I want to know what you think.

Why would you want to be president of a country that is trying to be so politically correct for everyone else in the world except for your own countrys foundation? You'll read my name on the front page if someone ever attempts to burn an american flag on my lawn I guarantee.. I'll go on my own head hunt if some corporate thieves were to steal my retirement.. From the kennedys all the way to the clintons, and now the bushes and chaneys.. why expose yourself too.. We Americans are truely the laughing stock of the whole world.. You fix our jobs! you fix our economy !you fix our legal system!...Then the democratic process will fix itself!!

Would anyone on the left support him? I think he would draw well from the middle, he is a great communicator. I heard him today doing the Paul Harvey report. He very easily and eloquently shot holes in the charlie sheen/mark cuban 911 (yes the govt did it!!) docu...what would u call it...a doculie?? I hope he runs...he is the only person out there I could vote for and feel good about it.

We need people from around the country to focus on that senator from another state and if he or she is corrupt or lazy, get rid of them immediately. Use the recall petition or just flat out kick them out of office by acclimation and refuse to continue to pay them. It could be a very good tool to straighten out this MESS they have made

I mean, aren't the politicians supposed to listen to all of us and not a "sampling" of voters? I've been voting since I turned 18 and I still don't get it. I really don't think that anyone up there gets the Constutition, not really. We elect them, they listen to us, isn't that how it's suppossed to work? All of this sniping, backbiting and personal attacks are what turn people OFF to the process. Come on, Guys! Clean it up or we're all in trouble here..
