I think he should pull out, he has no chance of winning and in staying in he makes it look like he is using his wifes illness to get votes. I find it very distasteful

I personally feel that he is either a selfish scu*bag or that his wife and he have a relationship very much like Mr. and Mr. Clinton.
They certainly don't need the money, I would spend all my time together that we could. I would like to throw out that 45 million Americans have no insurance. Now wouldn't it be interesting if the news brought on a 50 year old couple who had no insurance, very little money and one of them was dying from cancer. Now that would be a heartbreaking story. Edwards, that story is just a clown act.

It's hard to speculate about someones personal life. I'm sure she knew full well when she married her husband what it meant to be a politicians wife and that of course carries a number of burdens with it. I'm sure they have had that discussion.
Howard Dean's wife had no plans to stop her medical practice had he been elected to DC (I know, there wasn't a chance, but it's an example). These are all very personal and private decisions. Why should we pass judgment on politicians personal lives?

Some couples and families deal with pain and loss like this, i know plenty people that lost a loved one and came to work the next day, elizabeth might want john to continue working, so she doesnt feel like she is too much of a problem and he might need to keep working to take his mind off of things, they have to deal with the situation every day and night, that can have a negative effect on her recovery too.

His wife's cancer doesn't make him any better or worse a candidate. It's silly to discuss her as if it does.

It's a private and personal decision they made, no one should question them.

His wife wants him to do it. When your wife tells you to do something and you want to do it, You do it.
