Definatly not Hilary because there's only 1 reason she stayed with that disgusting excuse for a man.

Way too early for me, I gotta drive.....oh, I thought you were offering me a drink, in which case I'd vote for Guinness if it weren't so early.

Here are the candidates I'm somewhat interested in but not totally convinced about, in no particular order:

John McCain - needs to get off the party line and be honest, like he used to be.

Mitt Romney

Barack Obama

John Edwards

I have issues with all of these. So let's see what happens as the story unfolds.

I'd really like to se AHHHnold run, but of course he's not eligible. I mean who in the world would screw around with The Presinator? And I have the sense that although he is a serious man, he doesn't take himself too seriously, a quality sadly lacking in Washington. And he's a fiscal conservative and a social liberal which is a nice balance.

Mitt Romney is the one I will be voting without any doubt. He's the real deal --- a brilliant man whose past records show he CAN turn this country around, and not just make a bunch of promises that won't be kept, like the majority of politicians. Just look what he did for the 2002 Winter Olympics and the for the state Massachusetts with balancing the budget and health care. For anyone, to pass this guy up as the next commander-in-chief, isn't really paying attention. We NEED this man as our next president!

Guiliani is just a celebrity born from 9/11. He did great things for NYC, but his screwed up personal life indicates that he is not fit to run this country.

John McCain is all washed up. For anyone to think this guy is even remotely capable of being our next President really needs get with the program.

This country is in shambles right now. It's frightening. Guiliani, Hilary, McCain, Obama, Edwards, etc. are just talk. They won't get this country anywhere near where it needs to be. There's only one man capable of making real change. Just look at his past accomplishments!

Go MITT!

Well, let's see who I am not voting for:

Rudy Giuliani - The guy was a good mayor, but honestly is kind of a screwed up guy. Plus, from mayor to President isn't the type of thing I like.

OK that makes one guy.

I would vote for Barack Obama because he cares about the poor, he is a good public speaker. Obama is young, educated, and knows about the law. He seems to be the most motivated to change this country. I would also vote for John Edwards. He has his facts straight, and he's a decent guy. I'd vote for Hilary Clinton because she did great in New York as a Senator. I like John McCain. He is very smart, and my favorite Republican.

You're correct, it is too early. However, some of the issues that I will be considering for the candidates are: War, economy, federal debt including the unfunded Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security liability, environment, education, trade deficits, immigration, character, etc. I am certain that no candidate will meet my stance on every consideration but I'll be looking for the best match.

Mitt Romney

He is the closest candidate to Reagan.

He didn't raise taxes as governor of MA, he balanced the budget, and he cut lots of wasteful spending--with a democratic controlled congress.

He has run several successful businesses and the SLC Winter Olympics in 2002.

He's not a Washington insider.

Although he has changed his opinion (which everyone is entitled to) he is currently pro-life.

I think Romney will be strong during the war on terror.

Some people are scared of his religions beliefs--but we are not voting for a chief theologian, we're voting for the chief executive.

John McCain, because the only other candidates that stand a chance of getting their party nomination are delusional, paranoid about conspiracies, organizing people to go against the executive branch, and not people I want to represent me as a citizen.

It's 2007. I don't plan on looking at candidates until after the primaries, when we have 2 big candidates and a bunch of other little ones.
