Who would you vote for? Why?

Mrs. Clinton
Obama
Edwards
Someone else?

What if Gore ran?

So several of you missed the point. It's a theoretical question.

To answer it, you pick someone, then say why.

Not, "I'd slit my throat" or "I wouldn't vote."

I'm having a really hard time with this question. I'm concerned about Edwards preoccupation with his wife's cancer, I think this would make him a less effective President, but I find his position on Iraq the only one that is acceptable. Of course I don't think anyone can really be sure what Hillary's position is, like her husband she says one thing to one group, another to the next group, and wind up doing nothing. We can't afford a "let it ride" president in this era.
Obama is just totally wrong on this issue - shows he has no grasp of foreign affairs. He would damage U.S. interests for years and endanger our cities to another 9/11. Edwards said he'd define some reasonable measure of success and achieve it before withdrawing honorably. I can live with that.

As for Gore. He has no control over what comes out of his mouth. Invented the internet? Nope, I shudder to think of Gore as president.

I would most definately vote for Obama. He will fight for an open and honest government. He wants to clean up politics. He wants to help the Senior Citizens and also keep the Social Security and Medicare. He believes the troops have done a great job but also believes there can be no military solution to a political conflict. He is very concerned with the use of Meth in this country and very concerned about illegal immigration. He wants all Americans to have an opportunity to have a quality education and wants to provide affordable, accessible, high-quality healthcare. He believes it should be everyones right to have it, not just some of the fortunate ones. He is also committed to helping the Veterans of today, in the past and also the ones who come home from the war.
He is also concerned about the environment, focused on ways to improve technology, finding alternate fuels, and making greater efforts in conservation, efficiency and waste reduction. He speaks to us like we are important, not like your typical politician.

All I see from the two events is kissing Illegals @sses attempting to offer Amnesty Hoping for there destiny votes. Which tells me they have not any situation merchandising usa out in hopes of reaping rewards there own political celebration. It particularly Sucks. we want a solid 0.33 celebration candidate to deliver those we at present have in DC a message.

I will agree with Toeless Joe Jackson above. Joe Lieberman is a strong candidate and is above bipartisan politics. He also supports the troops and would take a tough stand against Iran.

The Democrats would have won if they ran Lieberman over Kerry in 2004. The issue was national security, and Joe is not afraid to address that.

ZELL MILLER ALSO ROCKS!!!!!!

Clinton, Obama, Edwards and Gore...That's what the Democrats have to offer.

What a joke.

I'd rather NOT vote.

I would have no issue voting for Senator Byron Dorgan of ND. One of the few honest and non-partisan politicians who is willing to take on the status qou on the hill and in his own party.
