I know of at least three presidential candidate's who have asked relatively stupid questions on Yahoo Answers! They are running for President-shouldn't they be giving us the answers?!?! I think anyone who has to get advice on Yahoo Answers should be banned from running.

I believe it is more than the fact that they need answers. In my opinion it is a publicity move to try and instill the opinion that they care about your opinion.

All the canidates on the left are having their true beliefs hindden by the media. The press is pulling for the left and all others get little attention. We are being sold on a socialist(s) at the cost of the producers in society. If we drop the public school monopoly and get serious, our people would know more and chose better. CAN WE PLEASE FOLLOW THE CONSTITUTION...........PLEASE PS Have the left and some on the right read the damn thing!

Good point. See Hillary's line about "Join the conversation?"
Nowhere in her history has she ever cared what we think.
She says in her book that she relishes the idea of continuing a conversation with her husband Bill. We all know where that conversation went. And now, except for the campaign trail, they never see each other.
We should follow Bill's example and join in another conversation. If engaging Hillary in conversation was as boring and uninteresting for Bill, imagine what that "conversation" will be for us.

Politicians running for office are always shopping for free "face time." The only thing new is the existence of Y! Answers.

I think they are using the format to poll the feelings of the people about issues that concern us all. I think open interaction is the place we voice our wants and needs as citizens. I think this is very positive.

I always thought that they were representatives of the people. and should make decisions based upon what the people want. At least that's how it should work in a Republic.

They're just trying to get their name out. Swing voters will vote for name recognition more than anything.
