I believe that 2008 will bring the US a president like we've never seen before. But will it be a black man, or a white woman? Senator Obama looks like the brightest star to me, but I want to know what you think.

I just want to set one thing straight: This is NOT meant to be a racist question! I'm sorry if anyone feels it is worded that way, I am only pointing out the obvious differences of the two candidates.

Barack Obama is the right leader for the time. He has unique personal traits that make him an ideal candidate.

We are suffering from a very bad relationship between the US and the Islamic world. Barack lived in an Islamic family during his youth in Indonesia. He has said that his Indonesian father was his favorite father. He understands enough about Islam and world politics to enlist the Islamic world to constrain the influence of Al-Queda.

Barack is a man of high integrity who will discuss hot and controversial topics with people who disagree with him, and enable them to undertsand that even though he disagrees that he respects their opinion. This is the opposite type of personality from our current President, who basically resorts to name calling of anyone who does not line up; or even worse to covert retalliation aagainst people who do not agree.

YES! I think that Barack Obama has the absolute best opinions out there. I agree with him on almost everything. Unlike Hillary, he made the right decision about the War On Iraq. The only thing he lacks is experience. I think he could be either a) the Democratic presidential candidate or b) the Democratic vice-presidetial candidate.

Sen. Obama doesn't stand a chance of winning the Democratic nomination, let alone the Presidency. He's only there to serve as window dressing for Hillary Clinton.

I am just starting to know this man. Too early yet to see what he is made of..BUT he has my attention. As for a white woman?? Not Hillary. If the dems are smart they will go for Obama.

Nope.
Barack Obama is pro-abortion to the point that he voted against a bill supplying medical attention to fail abortions (which would be babies who are actually born alive, imagine that!)

He sponsored a resolution in the Senate which would make it illegal to ask for I.D. in the voting booth (I can't see THAT being abused...)

Plus, your question is very racist. For one, you are not supposed to judge a man by his skin. Two, Barack is only half black, so why not call him a white man?

I support him 100%. I would love to see a woman be president but just not hilary.

I care about my nation. I believe my nation's best interest is to make sure Hillary Clinton wins the Democratic primary and the DNC nomination. I am an independent.

Running Hillary against a strong-foreign policy candidate from the other party will ensure the security of the nation.
