I am from New York and I thought it was a joke when rumors circulated that this ex-mayor was running for president simply because of his lack of experience. I am a democrat and I thought he was a fine mayor, but how could he possibly be a good president?

I'm not trying to start a fight here, I honestly want to know what Giuliani supporters' rationale is. I have a feeling people like him only because of his great media coverage post-9/11, but does this guy have any other qualifications? Are republicans just looking for the 'anti-Bush'?

This was kind of fun. It shows you which candidates most match your political philosophy. My top 3 tied at 48%--and two I've never considered. Of course the quiz is only for those who've announced. I will bookmark and retest when others throw their hats in. If you tested, were you surprised by who you matched up with?

Here's what I've heard about it. I've heard that in contrast to the Democrats standing as a bloc last Thursday, looking like a solid party for the first time in a long time, the Republicans will be mudslinging and arguing among themselves to beat the band. The pundits are expecting big fireworks. Any thoughts on this?

I'm thinking of voting for Obama. One of the strongest reasons is his pledge to get us out of Iraq.

Shortly Gordon Brown will become the Prime Minister of Britain. Although I agree it was New Labour people voted for not Blair. My question is that "should a leadership change automatically trigger a general election?".

I am leaning towards New Leader = New public vote at the moment.
