Everybody will probably throw a party when George Bush's term is over. He is the worst president in the history of America. The Democrats will probably get drunk and high of happiness, and all the blame will be on George Bush and the Republicans.

No. Just a sigh of relief. But that won't last long, because whoever is elected (Democrat or Republican) will have a serious mess to clean up. (S)he will have to deal with the debris leftover from the Iraqi 'war'; renewing America's reputation as a world leader and global peacekeeper; trying to figure out a way to get taxpayers out of the TRILLION-DOLLAR debt the Bushites have put us in; trying to prevent China from cutting up America's 'credit cards'; and co-ordinating efforts to deal with the oncoming economic depression which will make October, 1929 look like an ice cream social. -RKO- 04/30/07

Yes. Followed by a big hangover as they realize they're going to have to try running the country with the republicans acting as obstructionists instead of the other way round. Fortunately, they'll be able to claim that everything that goes wrong will be because of continuing fallout from the failed policies of the Bush years. They'll probably keep using that one through 2020.

Come on now! I do hope there is a party and I do hope I get invited - but in reality that won't happen. Whoever might win the presidential election in 2008 will have less time for a "honeymoon" with the voters. The voters will expect honesty and demand action on our own domestic problems. It is about time the government realizes that America's problems do NOT include a war were there is no plan for victory!

You bet! At my house! Free party hats and noise makers for everyone!!
What will the Democrats do then? Probably not have to go and fix what is broken in the White House. And who will they blame? More than likely GW and company have done enough to the world to give people fodder far after his reign as dictator is over. . .

If the Americans elect another Republican to replace President Tush, I believe that the world will throw up.

There may be a big party, but it won't last long. After we pull out of Iraq, the terrorists move in, build up and God knows what will happen to us then. My son is a Marine and there ARE a lot of positives going on over there. The news is our biggest enemy here and that's just what al Quaida likes to hear. If we would unite and stand behind this war and our troops, whether we believe in it or not...it's happening, we will appear strong and that's exactly what they don't want.
