Not hard to believe, there are many households that don't own guns, but some of the candidates may well have grown up in households that owned guns - such as shotguns for grouse hunting.

Believe it or not I've never even held a gun much less owned one or lived in a house where there was one. But both my adult children have guns. And I worked so hard as a mother to try to keep them from being intrigued by guns. Wonder where I went wrong?

It is very possible.
In my adult life, I have never had a gun in my home. Neither my husband or I believe in owning one, and we don't hunt.
I grew up in a home with guns in it, for my father hunted, as did many members of my family. I did hunt when I was younger, but lost interest.
It is the choice of any individual to decide if they would like to own a gun or not. Everyone doesn't need to own one, and if they ARE lying, you would be hard-pressed to prove they are.

No, but I thought it was interesting that Hillary said that she never had a gun in her house considering that she was guarded by state troopers and then Secret Service for many years.

Not so hard to believe. They have had body guards through most of their adult lives. They didn't have guns but their body guards did. They didn't lie they just didn't tell the whole truth.

My husband and I do not own a gun-we keep metal baseball bats for protection in case someone tries to break in.

Not really! Some grew up in an era where you left your house unlocked when you went to work, others didn't need it because they have almost always have had secret service protection, or live in places that are guarded!

Who said that. For some of them I believe it because their "adult lives" have yet to start.

No it is not. Why should it be hard to believe? Heck, the Clintons had secret service detail, why would they need a personal firearm?

No, most people don't own guns...I don't have any...I don't have a problem with other people having them but I can protect myself with my fists.
