gender or race has nothing or shouldn't have anything to do with it. But for some it will. Definetly on other factors such as voting record, do they just whine and moan and point fingers at the present president or do they have positive ideas for the country. I see none on the left from their first debate that could answer a question in a positive way. Obama turned his answer to what would he do if we were attacked again and we knew who did it into a Bush bashing. Clinton stumbled and bumbled her way through as well as the "Breck girl".Mr. Edwards I will judge the republicans just as harshly if they merit it.

Neither and by the way. How can you say either one of those matter. It's not as much about that as it is the climate of the country with regard to domestic and foriegn policy and the candidate who comes to be the best fit. Tell you something else too, because of those factors it really doesnt matter to me what comes out of this persons mouth in the course of their election.

Gender and race must not be the main factors in choosing the President. Intelligence, sincerity and experience must be the considerations for electing a President.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

Less BELLICOSE foreign policy
We are getting like the GANGSTER that you KNOW might whack you if you run afoul of him.
And he doesn't even have to say it.
All the squawking from countries from Venezula and Iran ...for instance.....
cause we are stretched thin now.
we could still put a serious hurting on somebody.
but we sure ain't going to fielding Divisions.
Army is scraping together BRIGADES.
Our Foreign Policy stinks.
Bigger Military isn't the answer.
And I ain't anti military.
I just don't like to see us involved in other countries affairs and it always seems to boil down to military/death squads.
The NEOCON concept of pre emptive action against threats goes way beyond immediate physical threats.
Their criteria borders on including IMAGINARY THREATS.
(to OIL INTERESTS?)
and
I am American.
We are hooked on OIL.
A lot of Americans would not be caught dead on public transport.
busses are for the crazy and the poor.
Americans are flat out self centered when it comes to OIL.
I WOULDN'T LIVE IN CITY THAT DID NOT HAVE GOOD PUBLIC TRANSPORT
I would like GREENER President.
I AM NOT INFLUENCED BY THE CANDIDATES LOOKS.
could be walleyed hunchback for all I care.......
And......
I will not be influenced by "human" flaws.
like tripping on a stair.....
and then the more comical pundits grab a hold of that and the Candidate is object of derision.....
or
I don't care that they possibly dabbled in drugs.
They could not have possibly reached the levels of achievement they have if they were "druggies".
Something nighmarishly hypocritical about snarling with moral outrage at somebody for doing what a WHOLE lot of people have done anyway.
I don't need CONFESSIONS.
I am a LIBERAL in Seattle.
Live and let live variety.
and a bit of socialist streak...
not over the top anarchist.
Americans are going to have to change attitude.
ALL THIS **** IS ABOUT OIL.
But I will probably vote for Hillary......
I think Bill as Ambassador at large would go a long way towards out AT LEAST BEGIN to repair the damage to our reputation IN THE WORLD.
that would be good place to start.
IS IT THE OIL COMPANIES SAYING WHO TO INVADE?

I base my choice on qualifications. Gender and race should never be part of the decision!
Obama, Hillary, McCain, Edwards, Dodd, Biden, Gore, Kerry...... none are qualified!
For me, a socialist is NEVER qualified!

On policy and who I believe will do the best job-no matter their party, race, religion (unless they try to push it onto other people) or sexual orientation.

If the selection of Bush two times is any indication, people vote on what they hear about a candidates religion and intolerances, not politics or anything else of value to America as a whole.
