I'm disgusted - there are only 3 local candidates on my ballet paper:
Conservative (you have to be joking!)
Labour (mmm.....really?)
UKIP (c'mon now...lets be serious)

what's happened to the Green Party, SDLP (whatever they call themselves?)....or a genuine Environmental party that is forward thinking and radical with it's ideas on local government?
Are there any such parties in Yorkshire and if not - how do you create one?

After a remark so ignorant as this I would hope not.
WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidates on Wednesday rebuked Republican rival Rudy Giuliani for suggesting that the United States could face another major terrorist attack if a Democrat is elected in 2008.

What a douchebag!!! He need's to just stick to woman chasing and dressing in drag! With the great moral's this one has if he get's elected it's the end of the world.

Is he playing the politics of fear thinking it will garnish him votes? Is he playing the politics of fear trying to win the Republican nomination (knowing that most conservatives are gulible to the fear card?) and then he will change his tune and become the true liberal he is once he has the nomination?

I think it's not a wasted vote because if they support what you believe in voting for them is your duty and right as an american citizen. Why vote for the "winner" who oppsose you?? Then maybe when they win they look at the reasons why the people who didn't vote for them voted for the opposing candidiate. and compromise. Serious Opinions please!

If everyone remember the primary election with Dukakis and Jackson, you will understand. I feel that for Clinton or Obama to win or to be effective in office, they both need to be there. In order to get them in office, one of them should not run in the primary. When the general election comes, they need to run together.

Who thinks that Rudy Giuliani is playing the 9/11 card to try to win himself the presidency and trying to scare people into voting Republican for fear of another attack?
