I have found that bribery and corruption always works in politics, especially if the electorate think they're are on a free ride.
If you already have a manifesto, remember, that no matter what promises you make in it, these can easily be broken once you are elected and have had a chance to look at the balance sheet[s].
Beware of falsehoods in politics always speak the truth even when you know it is lies. Stay with the party line at all times and dish the dirt on your opponents.

Do what all the political figures do, promise them you'll do everything to help them have a better life, then once your elected, do absolutely nothing, but feather your own nest "vote for me and your life will be so much better" !!!!
