Does it really matter....they all have platforms right now and all of them come from "middle class" blah blah blah. At the end of the day they are all politicians, hence, unreliable and unethical.
Personally, its not that I am a fan of Hillary Clinton or anything..But, India, Pakistan (so called 3rd world countries) have had women prime ministers...now France might have one as well....its about time a country so high bent on being the best and the most open minded to select a female president. I am all about girl power!

It won't happen but Ron Paul, Democrats had 40 years and Republicans had 8 years to screw things up, and Ron even thought he has an R next to his name he is more Libertarian and that would be a change. Expecting change out of republican or democrat is like saying I am going to have scrambled eggs instead of fried, when a real change would be having pancakes. Obama = raw egg, Hillary = scrambled, Guiliani= Hard boiled, Ron Paul = Pancakes. Sadly the country isn't ready for Pancakes.

Me.
I don't care about winning elections. I would want to take on the tough challenges like getting us OUT of Iraq, fixing social security, and finding a way to make America's world class healthcare system available to ALL Americans.
I would also welcome those from other countries who LEGALLY enter our country, and work hard to make sure that those who do not enter legally don't get to stay, while providing them with information on how to FOLLOW THE RULES to come here legally.
These positions, I'm sure, would cause both the left AND the right to ensure that I would never be reelected, which would be fine with me. I'd be more than happy to collect the quarter million dollars per year salary that every living former president gets until their death.

From what I'm hearing here in UK, it now looks as though the Republican Party have a serious problem on their hands, in that they really do not have a candidate who looks likely to be elected.
Strange things are happening in politics.
Here in UK we may slip slightly more center right in the next few years.
Meanwhile in Europe they are slowly moving right.
USA looks set to slip center left with a liberal President next time around.
Weird or what?

Beyond a shadow of a doubt I would like to see former governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee win the Presidency. I have been a conservative my whole life and I love what Huckabee brings to the table. He is one of the most genuine candidates I have seen in decades. I watch/read everything I can about him. He is consistent in all of his views. He doesn't change his position based on his audience. He's fearless in conveying his true thoughts and feeling about any subject. Check him out yourself.

...Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. He has clear vision of what the US should be about, and where it should go. He is brilliant with policy, is very articulate, and explains things well, which is something the Republicans do not do well. He has real solutions to our problems, and has really thought them through. He always seems to be 5 or 6 steps ahead of anyone he debates. He has served in Congress and as Speaker of the House.
...He is my choice, hands down.

Rudy Giulani.
If you were in New York when he was in charge and saw what he did for it, you'd understand. He completely reformed it into a wonderful place to be. That's what we need for America. Just bring the Americans who are overseas back home and fix things here. Stop worrying about other countries. It makes me sick when I read the news titles on Yahoo or MSN and see "32 killed at VA tech" "hostage killed in Dallas" "this person killed here, and that person killed there" followed by "Bush says deaths in Baghdad are down". Who the hell cares about Baghdad when our own people are dying here in the country you're SUPPOSED to be running?!

Mitt Romney. He turned around an extreme budget mess in Mass. and did it without raising taxes. He introduced a major health care plan to provide insurance coverage for all. He kept our country from looking foolish by saving the winter Olympics from scandal and budget problems. He has made a fortune by straightening out companies with problems. We need him to straighten out the problems our country is in.
