No minoirity woman for Rep or Dem. Geraldine Ferrarro was nominated for VP in the 1980 election for the Democrats with Walter Mondale as the Presidential candidate, and lost in a landslide to Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush.

Nope...if you are talking about republicans and democrats. I beleve a woman won for the green party or independents back around 88 ish, but I am not sure.
