What would keep me from voting for Guilliani is the fact he is a Republican and I am a Democrat. When it comes to marital infidelity, no one is perfect. I'm not saying marital infidelity is right...but let's face it, throughout history a lot of people in power (and everyday people) have been unfaithful to spouses and they were still able to successfully govern their nations, run their corporations and what not.

An example? Francois Mitterand...whose mistress stood side by side with his wife at his funeral...and neither scratched the other's eyes out!

Given the choice between a President who had a "bit on the side" and one who wants to send virtually EVERY ONE OF OUR CHILDREN TO WAR...I'd prefer the one who likes to make love, not war....

Mr G is a left of center Republican. The folks that care about his marital infidelities won't vote for him anyway. He'd probably pull in quite a few Democrats though but I truly believe that he as the Repub nom is as bad for the Repubs as Hillary would be for the Dems. Maybe they should run together on the same ticket. Maybe the Libertarians are wishing really, really hard that they will each be their respective party's nomination.

Now myself, I don't give a hoot about marital problems because I'm a fiscal conservative, not an apostolic conservative.

i'm a Democrat and lived in NYC in the course of the top of Rudy's 2d time period as mayor. earlier human beings settle on to vote for him, or everybody for that count, they should comprehend the position he stands on themes. maximum folk that see him comprehend him for lower than 2 issues, the decrease in crime in NYC and how he dealt with 9/11. i am going to assert this about Guliani. As a Democrat he's both my in demand candidate and the scariest candidate in the Republican field. He has the right risk at triumphing a customary election of any Republican, and, oddly, he's the Republican i ought to least concepts triumphing. he's a in a position manager, I percentage extremely some his social perspectives, he's a Yankee fan and that i found his demeanor comforting after 9/11. there turned right into a tremendous decrease in crime the following for the time of his words as mayor, nonetheless the credit for it is not any longer completely his (Police Commissioner invoice Bratton merits some credit besides... and that i receives killed for this yet so does invoice Clinton. convinced, crime went down everywhere in the country in the course of the 90s. It merely went down swifter the following). He appointed strong judges at the same time as he became the following, he has a experience of humor, all in all he's a robust huge apple city Republican. We strengthen 'em diverse the following. i do not pay interest to the own lives of applicants, so the three better halves and the affair do not difficulty me. he's in no way campaigned or been a staunch supporter of "kin values" so there is not any hypocrisy there. If Rudy were given the nomination, i ought to judge vote casting for him searching on who the Democrats nominated. There are 3 or 4 Democrats i ought to take over Giuliani without questioning, after that i ought to ought to provide it some theory.

Well, I'm a Democrat, so I wouldn't be voting for him anyway, but no, his infidelity wouldn't have anything to do with his performance in the White House. Clinton was practically impeached for doing the same thing- and other countries like France and the rest of Europe laugh at Americans, because most of us are so puritanical. What someone does in their private life should have no reflection on their JOB.

No, they won't keep me from voting for him, because I believe he is the one Republican who has a chance of holding on to the White House and keeping it out of the hands of the Carpetbagger, who will do more to give us the Hammer and Sickle than the previous 43 presidents combined.

Let me put it this way...

Although I agree with virtually none of his political views, he, unlike Hillary Clinton, is capable of leading this country. Even if Hillary had any views that were beneficial to America, she is not a leader, just a follower. She will change all of her views to suit that of the voters.
