The Republicans lost control of both houses of congress because 5-8% of the voters came out to vote in the last election against anything associated with Bush. There are many more "Hillary Haters" out than that.

I must confess, I am a "Hillary Hater". I have not voted in 20 years, but I will make it a point to vote straight ticket republican if Hillary is the dem candidate.

If it were a choice between Hillary and the Devil, I'd chose her boss.

I think Hillary and just about anyone in the controlling left has the opportunity to destroy the democrats between now and 2008 elections. Pelosi and Reid will do their part to make a quick exit out of the majority in both houses and by this time next year people will be looking for a return to GOP control.

And i would be more worried about Hillyar, Pelosi, Reid and their bunch destroying the greatest country on God's green earth more than simply destroying their chances of being elected.

NO.

If anything, Hillary can unite the Democratic Party like her husband did. Yeah, yeah, you might think that there are more "Hillary Haters" out there, but when the time comes and the people of this great United States vote, I believe that she would be our next president.

For a person to claim that they have not voted in the last 20 years, I am concern about your claim to say that you are a "Hillary Hater". For that to be true, you would had to have voted against President Bill Clinton for a second term. But you didn't vote. Shame on you.

Voting is an unalienable right given to you by our Constitution. And here you are, bashing Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

When this country was reeling in high interest rates on loans and mortgages and low interest rates on checking, savings and other forms of accounts, through the Reagan and Bush Administration, you didn't vote at all. Here comes Bill Clinton and gives this country the best eight years we have seen in a long time (low mortgage rates, high interest rates and savings and checking accounts and other form of investments) and you bash him and his wife.

I'm voting for Hillary.

The Democrats are losing the 2008 election NOW. They are doing ABSOLUTELY nothing with their new found majority in congress BUT investigations into alleged crimes (witch hunts), trying to circumvent the constitution via dictating foreign policy instead of allowing the president to do it (forcing a cut & run policy from Iraq with the assumption that that is what the voters want) and continuing to bash Bush. Obama, Hillary or any other candidate will not have an easy task to win.

i do no longer think of of Obama could attempt to grant Hillary the vice presidency--she would not carry a lot to his promoting and marketing campaign and her assaults against him have been too destructive. jointly as Hillary supporters are smitten by their candidate, they're Democrats first and optimum and would not vote for a Republican (and the conservative wing of the Republican social gathering dislikes McCain way extra suitable perfect than Hillary supporters dislike Obama). If Obama wins the nomination, he will recieve Hillary's endorsement, in any diverse case, she might perhaps be killing her very own political occupation.

Any defeat is a setback for the party in question.

I have some serious reservations about Hillary Clinton, but I believe she can win in 2008. I know she's better than anyone who carries the Republican banner.

Robert E is right on target. We've had enough Bushes and Clintons running this country. If the Carpetbagger is elected, that will mean a minimum of 24 years under the rule of two families. If that's what freedom means, we never should have fought the Revolution.

Hilary couldn't possibly do more damage to the Dems than Dubbya has done to the Repubs.
