Just a theory I had. I want to see if this plays a role in making the presidency admit that it's erred. This would mean that this is a pattern over time that has taken its worst turn in Bush's Iraq war policy. Give examples please.

Well, there was Nixon. And Junior's father, Bush 41. (Hurricane Andrew and the, um, "no new taxes" speech.)

Eisenhower had his problems. Truman did as well. LBJ too.

Hoover and his economic policies which led to the Great Depression.

No. No one likes to admit that they've made a mistake, becasue then they would have to admit to their imperfections. And it is human nature to kick you when you're down. That's why no one wants to admit when they make a mistake. Iraq is this generation's Vietnam. We have no business still being there and our troops are dying for nothing. It's one thing for America to be the new sherrif in town, but let whomever kill eachother first, and then we'll take over when WE don't have anything to lose.

American presedents always make their big mistakes with other nations; Vietnam, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan and also by helpig the worst entity on earth, israel, in its racist wars against Arab nations and I always wondered if the American people can stop these crimes against innocent people ...
