Do you ever wonder why Ohio accounts for equal weight to New York?

If the votes are tallied by land mass - and Texas has the most rich, white, right-wingers owning large pieces of ranch-land... then do they get too much voting power in America?

If our voting system was actually done by a popular vote, like say... American Idol (except not on Fox, please) - then would that be more accurate?

I live in Pennsylvania. We were promised lower property taxes if gambling was allowed. Of course, this never happened. None of the promises ever happen. Every darned election is based on the same promises: more jobs, lower taxes and better services. Nothing ever changes.
When are politicians going to be held accountable ?

Wonder how these voters feel in voting Bush into the White House that resulted in so many dirty baggage scandals, corruption - and more important, for the close to 3400 dead young solduers and thosands and thousands of wounded ones! Do these voters really care about what happens to america's integrity? Have they forgotten that McCain is just a clever weasel, flip-flopping, and sprouting out what they only want to hear? Gracious! Another Bush-type in the WH and America would sink deeper into the mire!

Let me break this Q down as quick and easy as possible. A HUGE amount of Americans seem to be upset about the illegal aliens thing right? We have been since prop 187, so here lies the Q America/Yahoo...We are either left or right, elephant or donkey. For gay or not for gays, abortion or no abortion. I get that, but one thing we seem to be on the same page is...NO TO ILLEGALS. So my Q is, why havent you voted out the liars and fakes, and put in the correct people who would take care of this problem. A name that comes to mind Pat Buchanan, now Im reading about some guy named Tancredo...I may not like EVERYTHING these guys stand for, but the one thing I think NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED, is the illegal immigrant problem and securing our borders and so do these guys. Do you get what Im going for here? Vote for someone who will actually make a difference the next time around, let that person secure our land, and THEN worry about personal matters.
