Wonder how these voters feel in voting Bush into the White House that resulted in so many dirty baggage scandals, corruption - and more important, for the close to 3400 dead young solduers and thosands and thousands of wounded ones! Do these voters really care about what happens to america's integrity? Have they forgotten that McCain is just a clever weasel, flip-flopping, and sprouting out what they only want to hear? Gracious! Another Bush-type in the WH and America would sink deeper into the mire!

I have no comment about McCain leading, because I haven't seen the poll and wasn't one of those surveyed. I don't know who I'm going to vote for in 2008 - only that it won't be Obama.

I felt in 2000 and 2004 that Bush was a better candidate than Gore and Kerry. I still feel that way. Note that "better" is a comparison term and doesn't necessarily mean the same as "good."

Speaking of Kerry - you still want to talk about flip-flopping?

First of all this has nothing to do with your question it deals with the answer you gave me. Kids with racist remarks, both of my kids are American and speak English just because we lived in |Mexico does not make them an alien either. I would prefer if you can not be nice please do not answer my questions. You were being rude and did not read what I wrote. How would you feel if I answered 1 of your questions like that. |I can tell you this America stinks reight now and it is because Bush sits at the head. We are in a war that is becoming Vietnam 2 when we leave Iraqi will go back the way it was just without Saddam. Besides show me a politician who is not corrupt and does not lie than maybe this country would be better off.

Both Bush and McCain are conservatives. That's where their similarities end. Bush is heavy on the social-religious side, McCain on the fiscal side.

McCain has had the guts to oppose Bush on many issues in the past six years. But it is true that McCain has been fudging a bit, even to the point of courting some notorius religious characters.

The fact that McCain is finally gaining on Giuiliani is a surprise only because it has taken a little longer than expected.

I will not be voting for McCain, but if he is elected, he will be a certain improvement over Bush.

He's the stay-the-course candidate. It's the only position acceptable to Republican primary voters, but a huge turnoff to the vast majority of Americans. Democrats will win the White House by at least 5% in 2008, and will gain seats in the House and Senate.

I don't think he has quite the same supporters, no. McCain has a record of compromise and bi-partizanship in the Senate that the Bush religio-conservative 'base' doesn't aprove of. He'd have to be pulling in support from more moderate conservatives, as well as supporters of the war, of course.

Yes!!! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!

The more we get people to point out what an embarrassment Bush is and how much he's messed up America, the better.

And if we get another one like him in there, then we're screwed.
