Because they didn't vote to override BUSH? Is the will of the people divided by idiotic party ideaologies?

NO....for one reason....even the Generals overthere on the ground even said that setting a time table that started withdrawls that soon would be a very bad idea. And much as I don't like being there, and am not happy with the way the bush admin has handled the war....we have to listen to those Generals on the ground...they are the only ones who truly know what is going on.

Until someone who's not a politician runs for office, we won't be able to vote the politicians out of office.
I live in a 'safe' congressional district - one that's been gerrymandered to the point that even if the party it favors failed to run a candidate at all, they'd still win the seat - so I won't be voting anyone out of office.

In case you didn't know, Dennis Kucinich
http://www.kucinich.us introduced articles of impeachment against Cheney over two weeks ago. Last wee at the first Democrat debate (?), he asked who would support him in this BOLD move--no one raised their hands. NONE of the other Dem. candidates! THAT, My Friend, speaks volumes of courage vs. cowardice.
The "will of the people" is a phrase that leaves me wondering if people actually HAVE a will of their own! Look at the garbage sitting in government now and tell me where the hell they came from!
Mainly from lazy, t.v. addicted, 'party-liners" who find it much easier to follow the "group" instead of actually studying a candidate's position, character, and voting record in the past.
If I were King of the Universe, 95% of incumbents would be in the unemployment line. (Hardly, since their pensions are more than you or I earn in a full Lifetime!)

IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE.....
PERSONALLY I THINK THEY ARE ALL CROOKS. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONAL AGENDA TO MAKE MONEY FOR THEMSELVES.
THESE POLITICIANS... REPUBLICAN, DEMOCRATS AND THE REST ALL REMIND ME OF CRIME FAMILIES. I'D RATHER TRUST A CRIME FAMILY BECAUSE AT LEAST THEY LET YOU SEE THEIR TRUE COLORS UNLIKE THE POLITITIANS DRESSED AS LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD WHEN THEY ARE IN ALL REALITY, THE BIG BAD WOLF!
