I don't think we have to worry because the Democratic candidate, whoever he or she is, will win it by a landslide. No one wants more of the same. Everyone knows George Bush stole the election from Al Gore. The most important thing is that we all get out and vote. If you aren't registered to vote, do it NOW, so you'll be eligible to vote when the time comes. And do some homework. Study all the candidates and find out what they really stand for. There's plenty of time to do this before the election since so many have already declared their intention to run. We can no longer afford the apathy that has characterized so many previous elections.

Yes, there is fraud and it will continue and the problem is bigger than most people think. There's a movie that builds a case for this (be patient as you watch this 1 hour 51 minute movie as it builds it's case from different parts of government) as it talks about the computerized voting at near the culmination of the movie. The discussion of this will make a lot more sense if you watch everything up to where it gets into this discussion on voting. Go to google then select "video". Then use the search terms "freedom fascism". It should be about the 4th item at 1 hr. 51 min. From this you'll see that the scope of this problem is broad.

well...
either of those two election really didn't matter in the choosing of the president.
although most states do have laws regarding how the electoral college members are to vote based on the popular vote for that state, in some states its not automatic.
We do not elect the president based on popular vote of the people. our presidents in the United States are elected based on an electoral college. these are members of the state selected by the governor of each state. the number of electors for each state is based on the population of that state. that is why its so important to have a census every 10 years.
the reason for the Florida debacle was simple: its governmental system does instruct the electoral college members of that state to vote the way the people want. and Florida does have a quite a few electoral votes.

There's voter fraud in every election on both sides, but to be fair it's usually on the part of the Democrats.
It's not your job to educate me, but it IS your job to cite evidence to prove your claims. If you can't do that, then there's no reason any of us should take you seriously. You're making assertions that as of yet you've been unable to substantiate. That's intellectual dishonesty. You're not supposed to obligate the reader to do your homework for you. When you fix your error, I'll come back and address the subject.

The 2008 election hasn't occured, so it can't possibly be rigged again. There was no national election in 2001; they only happen in even-numbered years. Virginia has local elections every year, but I don't recollect those ever being rigged.
