Well, there are quite a few hippies nowadays. Reason: Either they really like drugs or they really don't like the war.
Do you think when Bush is gone, and hopefully when this worthless war ends, the new-age hippie movement will go as well? Really, I'm not only against the war, and I don't want it to end. What are your thoughts on this?
Peace.

... the lawyers in my town seem very relaxed and friendly. Even the ones who work in "unpleasant" fields such as family law (doing divorces, child support, etc.).

I live in a town of about 30,000 people. Are lawyers in small towns less prone to being stressed out and depressed?

Zeitgeist the movie is a exposition of the conspiracy ideas and subjects that control the United States and to a lesser extent surrounding nations. However, the ideas expressed within this video are not entirely new. I recall reading a book named "The Generals President" Which contained relations to plans layed out by founding banking forefathers the bind the world together through the manipulation of the economy. I was wondering if there are any other know examples of ideas displayed within Zeitgeist, the Movie that have been circulated?

We've still got "mean folks" running Iran, North Korea, Syria, Libya, Burma, and Sudan, just to name a few...

Why aren't we liberating all of these people and making sure they never someday, somehow, attack us?

First, Giuliani and McCain are the best of friends; going to baseball games, praising each other as servants of the people, and so forth. McCain and Thompson, of course, have been allies since the 2000 election and their time together in the Senate. And now, there seems to be a tag team running between McCain and Huckabee. All the frontrunners are accounted for in this bond of camaraderie.

Except Mitt Romney. Every one of the aforementioned candidates has taken aim at the former Governor, each seeking to knock him out of the race with one shot; and each on a different front, as the below-mentioned article gives evidence to.

Republicans know they'll need all hands on election day. They have to be united. But if Romney ends up being nominated, how will the others stand behind him? As Huckabee himself noted, "When they're shooting at you, it means you're in front."

Is all the trouble we see around the world just about:

Power, Control, Ego, Self-importance?

Money, wealth, riches, natural resources (oil, land, water) ?

What is the hidden agenda of the "elites" or the so-called "illuminati" who control society, big business, the mainstream media?

What do they have planned for us?

Google "John Todd illuminati" and let me know if his speeches make sense. I have found many conflicting answers and would like to know if anybody out there has a sensible explanation for all the lies on TV, horror stories, wars and moves toward martial law in Western Countries...

Let me know if you think John Todd's message is credible:

(Scroll down near the bottom of this page and download all his speeches on MP3 )... Sadly, it seems John Todd was murdered or silenced for speaking out against the "illuminati".

Let me know your thoughts... or if you believe differently.

What do you think about what this article says about Huckabee: http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/20071223_the_evangelical_rebellion/
"Huckabee is different. He has tapped into the rage and fury of the working class, dispossessed and abandoned by the mainstream Democrats and Republicans. And he refuses to make the ideology of the Christian right, with its dark contempt for democratic traditions and intolerance of nonbelievers, a handmaiden of the corporate establishment. This makes him a much more lethal and radical political force."

"Huckabee has close ties with the Christian Reconstructionist or Dominionist branch of the Christian right. Dominionism teaches that American Christians have been mandated by God to make America a Christian state. Under Christian dominion, American will be a nation in which the Ten Commandments form the basis of our legal system and in which creationism and “Christian values” form the basis of our educational system.
