A Mexican or anyone else (ex: Jewish, Russian or otherwise) that is not a natural born citizen at the time of adoption of the Constitution (in the year of 1776) can never run for the seat of president, meaning that many on the presidential tickets are not suppose to be there, and can be challenged by the people of the United States on or before the general election.
And the gentleman saying that Richardson was born here and can run for President, he can not. But, he won't win in the primary election, and those giving him money are most likely cleaning money.
Our next presidential election will not encompass these mistakes again as even Lieberman was erroneously on the ballot years back.
Article II Section I:
"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

You have to be born in the US to run for president. You don't have to trace you ancestry back to the days of the writing of the Constitution. Since Bill Richardson was born in the Pasadena, California he is eligible to be president. Read Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 at the link below.
Edit: C.C.G., the phrase "or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution" was included in the Constitution because there were leaders at that time that weren't born in the US. Since it is not possible for anyone to have been a citizen at the time the Constitution was adopted and still be alive, the only requirement that is that the person be a natural born citizen. And yes, Richardson is eligible to be President or he could not have filed the paperwork to run.

Once again, I hope the next president relly focuses on Education, because, damn! There is some bad writing skills here.
First of all Bill Richardson was born in Pasadena, CA. As far as I know that is still part of the U.S.A.. And Joe Lieberman was born in Stanford, CT. One of the original 13 colonies.
If the individual's ancestry is either Latino, Zulu, Filipina, Irish, or Iraqi, I don't care as long as that person is the best person for the job of defending America and the U.S. Constitution.

If you're asking whether an AMERICAN of Mexican descent should be president of the US, why not? Bill Richards is well-liked in this part of the world, and probably the one with the most REAL foreign policy experience.
If you think all Hispanics are like poor illegal immigrants, that's ridiculous -- like thinking all Americans are hillbillies.

" that dates back to the conception of the Constitution" are you crazy? Most of the people who live in this country do not " date back to the conception of the Constitution". Are you saying you have to be at least 200 years old to run for president? Are you're saying your family had to live here since the conception of the Constitution? I'll vote for anybody for president if they have the citizenship to run for president if I like what they say. You're remarkably bigoted.

No, look at how they exploit their own underclasses.
Now, I am not including Mexican-Americans in that statement.....

"Their agenda"? All Mexicans have an identical agenda? Your bigotry is astounding. You know the white guy in office now isn't exactly my choice for employee of the year. "...dangerously opposite our Constitution..." describes exactly what is being served to us right now. If you want to be racist thats up to you but find a convincing reason to be at least. You know I hear if you turn your tin foil hat inside out, it will actually help to keep the ignorance in!

Incoherent question. But if you're asking about a person of Mexican descent that was born in America, sure why not.

This is what some people said about Italian and Irish immigrants. It's interesting how you already know what "they" are going to do; yet, all of us have have come from other countries.
