If we had an intelligent press that was truly interested in informing the people, they would ask Huckabee whether he was affiliated with dominionists and they would ask him his views on the mixing of church and state and religious tolerance. They would also tell us how he handled prayer and the teaching of creationism in the public schools during his ten years as Governor of Arkansas.

Even back before the Civil War there were fools who advocated turning the USA into a theocracy. Thanks to Our Creator that we are a secular state, the only sort of nation in which religious freedom is possible. Personally, I don't see how anyone can claim to love freedom while seeking to subject non-Christian Americans to Christian prohibitions and requirements.

If he gets elected, it'll be proof that too many of the American people can't handle real freedom, and scientific truth. They prefer delusion, fairy tails, and rights for only a few. They want to bring this country back to the dark ages.

I read the article. This guy is even worse than I thought! Let's hope he craters in the early primaries and we never hear of him again.
He'd be a bigger disaster as pres than the shrub.

That sounds about right. With him in power, women would lose their freedom, religion(christian) would be taught in schools, evolution would be cast aside for creationism, and every citizen would be forced to go to a christian church, and prepare for Armageddon.

Fortunately, the president doesn't have enough power to do any of that. The founding father put safeguards in place for just such an occasion; for them to complete their agenda they would also need a majority in Congress and enough time in office to stuff the Supreme Court.

Demonizing a man for his faith... this is an old tactic of the left. Im not sure if I will vote for him or not... but I certainly wont vote against a man who openly espouses his faith.. and gets attacked viciously by the same left wing loonies who attack any and every open expression of faith in the land.
Your arguement against a man of faith leading the nation is a scare tactic... and lame... at best.
Good thing people like you, and those who will give me the undoubtable thumbs down for telling it like it is... are not in the majority of the AMerican Electorate.
Your just as hateful on the subject of faith as any clan member Ive seen espousing their vicious viewpoint of the world and certain people in it.
