Even in the face of lies, evidence supporting the foundation of rich contractors being awarded cost plus contracts, and having a military presence in the Middle East, why do people continue to support the war? Please give detailed reasons, not defamatory responses. Thanks!

Our party is no longer a voice for the liberal agenda, it is a vehicle for thugs whose only principle is lust for power. The leadership focuses not on promoting the liberal agenda but on embarrassing the Bush Administration. The administration is able to embarrass itself without outside help and does so regularly & spectacularly. Raise the tax on capital gains? That always results in loss of jobs, hardly a liberal goal.

The thug-ism is clear in the plight of poor black Americans. The 3 greatest obstacles to achieving equality are education, healthcare & illigetimacy. The Party is in hock to the teachers' unions, the main cause of the education problem. Inner-city healthcare is scarce in large part due to high malpractice insurance costs - & the Party depends on the trial lawyers. Political correctness precludes addressing illegitimacy. Just point at the nearest white Republican & yell "racist," and the black voters will continue to vote for the white thugs. I want my party back!

Recently Mike Huckabee , (R) suggested that we should toss out the IRS and have a national sales tax of 23% , on the surface this seems like a great alternative to the current, confusing, time consuming system we have. He suggests no more income tax . He outlines his idea on his website. Do you think that this would be a good replacement of the current system ? Why or why not ?

My guy friend is currently going through a divorce - so he's separated from his wife. But, they have a daughter, so they take turns having some days. Someone told me it's against the law for his daughter to be staying with him over nights - is this true? Sounds ridiculous to me, but you can never be too sure...

A couple months ago I got arrested for underage drinking in PA but now I got accepted into the ARD program to get the record sealed. 2 weeks ago ( 3 days before trial scheduling) was notified I was accepted into ard and have not heard anything since. What is going to happen next and in what time frame? I know I am going to have to have a probation officer but how long in advance will I know about the first meeting? What if my system is dirty with thc for the first meeting? Technically I wasn't on probabtion yet but god forbid this case goes really fast and I have to see a PO, what will happen? Thanks

I have a friend who just found out that his blood father left his mom a few weeks after being born. He was an abusive father and always drunk. He used to always stalk my friend's mother. After a few years he finally left her alone. Fast forward almost 20 years later. He is back and starting to stalk my friend and his mother. When can they file for a restraining order? What line does he have to cross? How would they even go about doing this?

I am a bachelor, my petition is approved and
I am going for H1B stamping in Jan 2008 next month.

After that, I will marry in India only in Feb 2008 and
would like to take my spouse to US on dependent visa.

I cannot marry in Jan as the marriage date is fixed in Feb.

Will this be any issue to marry after H1B stamping and
immediately taking my spouse for stamping?

Will it be any issue if both of us go for stamping one week after marriage.

I am a Malaysian Citizen. My son and daughter are malaysian citizens and are studying in India. Our passports expires in March 2008. It is not possible for us to go to Malaysia to get a new passport and renew the IC since it involves huge amount and it will disturb the studies of my children since they will be busy preparing for their examinations. Is it necessary to go over to Malaysia to get a new passport? Is there any other way to get our pass port without visiting Malaysia? If there are ways, what are the procedures? We are in Tamilnadu, India and Malaysian High Commission has an office at Chennai.

Democrats, please don't do anything stupid. There is help available. Just accept, the democratic message of socialism, is not an acceptable way of life in this great nation, built from self-reliant citizens. A Republican is going to win, you can bet on it.

I plead guilty and had to do all the things all the other celebrities had to do.. fines, AA mandated meetings, counsuling classes, placed on informal parole, took a tour of the county morgue, the whole 9 yards. I completed all the things I had to do, took all the documents back to the county clerk's office, got a 'completed' seal on my docket and walked out free and refreshed, never to touch another beer again!! (now I do heavy alcohol and wine.. lol j/k uncle sam, I know you are watching me).. anyway, the question is:
It's been more than 3 years since my informal parole ended and I have been a good boy. Is there a way for me to request that my 'record' be sealed? archived? whatever the terminology is??

Should Obama be elected, is he willing to support medical marijuana for those in need of it with a doctors approval? I understand he has admitted it open his horizons after smoking the herb and he set his standards and goals a lot higher! So far, he seems to be opening eyes and the sky's the limit! What do you believe?

our current military recruitment system is 'all-volunteer' right? But according to this passage from CQ Researcher....it causes financial issues for the members of the military? I need help interpreting?

And to get the recruits it needs the military is increasing sign-up bonuses. The Army in June asked Congress to double the cash bonus to $40,000 and to provide up to $50,000 in home-mortgage help for recruits who sign up for eight years of active duty. Other proposals pending in Congress would increase the top enlistment bonus to $30,000 from $20,000 and provide $10,000 in re-enlistment bonuses for certain reservists.
Money Woes
Money is a major issue for reservists and National Guard members. As “part-time” soldiers, they have full-time civilian jobs that they must leave, and their military paychecks are often much skimpier than what they earn in the private sector. Annual Reserve wages range from under $15,000 for a private to $132,000 for a major general
