hi there

i recently visited the USS Arizona memorial and the USS MIssouri and loved it

one of the things i found most fascinating was the fact that oil is still leaking form the arizona, i was wondering if anyone knows the approx date people expect the oil to stop leaking from the ship

pearl harbour and hawaii were both fantastic places

If one is convicted of 3 or more instances of copyright infringement from filesharing (having shared 3 or more files on a network), does the "3 Strikes and You're Out" law apply to that so that the defendant gets a life sentence?

I just think it would be ridiculous for one to serve a life sentence for sharing 3 files. Copyright infringement is a federal crime, right? So the defendant goes to federal prison, where he might get raped any number of times during his incarceration. Just for sharing 3 files? Come on!!

What i need are the requirements, application fee, details and NOT address of embassies! I've already specified in my previous query that I already saw the site with addresses of embassies but it ISN'T what I need. I need to know the requirements before I go there so that I'm already prepared and to know if I qualify to get a visa for certain countries. What I need is just tourist visa. Please don't include dfa.gov.ph 'coz I've seen that page many times and it only has the addresses of embassies.

What are some of the problems with, and criticisms of Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) programs, which aim to reduce poverty by making welfare programs conditional upon the receivers' actions?

According to the World Bank, "Conditional cash transfers provide money directly to poor families via a "social contract" with the beneficiaries – for example, sending children to school regularly or bringing them to health centers. For extremely poor families, cash provides emergency assistance, while the conditionalities promote longer-term investments in human capital." [1]

In April 2007, Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced the launch of a conditional cash transfer pilot program, called Opportunity NYC, in New York City. The first CCT program to be launched in the United States, it is being funded by a number of private partners including The Rockefeller Foundation, Robin Hood Foundation, the Open Society Institute, Starr Foundation, AIG, and Mayor Bloomberg's personal foundation.
