If this is a joke, it's in bad taste - if it isn't a joke, you are some piece of work. Grow up!

There were no lefty nuts when Kennedy was shot.
There were only Americans.
Of course, if you are talking about political philosophy, if you go by TODAYS definitions, Eisenhower would qualify as a lefty nut. After all, he believed that wars should be paid for, that the military industrial complex would lead us into wars, and that billboards blighted our highways.
He believed in taxing to pay for government works rather than bonding for them.
All of these things would be seen as left of center today.

John Kennedy was a very popular president at least with the American public. He did not alienate the nation the way some of our most recent presidents and politicians have done to this country. He was far more to the "right" in his political views and would be very ashamed of what his democratic party has become and certainly disgusted with his brother TED thats for sure.

Kennedy was killed by a "lefty nut" (communist). No, the entire nation morned. Senator Everett Dirksen, Republican of Illinois, gave an eloquent eulogy. Kennedy was a young, charismatic gentleman and war hero.

First it's mourn, not morn as in good morning. You gotta be young .
No it wasn't the lefty nuts who mourned, the entire US mourned, it wasn't polarized then by the GOP jerks. People then could oppose one another in the senate or congress and have enough savoir faire to socialize with one another after six people like grown up people.
The entire world mourned JFK's assasination, that's why it is still fascinating to many of us and why there are still so many conspiracy theories out there. People loved the man not necessarily for his policies but for the hope that he represented to the rest of the world. He was one of the Greatest Generation's Icons.

When Kennedy was killed there was no "Lefty Nuts" like what we have today.
The whole country was in shock, there were no alternative news sources for the common people.
People that had a problem with Kennedy kept it to themselves until they were around people that they knew were like minded.

Everybody was deeply shocked and saddened. If you have ever taken the time to listen or read President Kennedy's speech; you would think of him a a conservative, not a lefty.

We all cried - democrats, republicans, young, old. I was a seventh grade student, and I saw my 60-yr-old seventh grade social studies teacher cry in the doorway when she got the news. She was as far from a "lefty nut" as you can imagine.
It was the idea that the president was vulnerable, as well as the images of his family.

Not at all. His popularity and approval rating soared after he was killed. While a beloved figure to many Americans at the time, you cannot say his image was without fault. During tumultuous times for the country and the shock of his death, many Americans were suddenly blinded by any fault they once saw in their fallen President. His death popularized him throughout the country and people of many different political ideals came together during that difficult time.

No! I was 6 when John Kennedy died and remember seeing a lot of people crying. I didn't, cuz I didn't understand what was going on. When Robert Kennedy died there were a lot of tears then also, including mine.
