the REPUBLICANS to enlist on their own free will?

I'm asking because I've just read another reader's question and the dozens of answers he got, from both sides. So I wonder if things get REALLY UGLY and we have three open fronts, IRAQ, AFGHANISTAN and IRAN_and heaven forbids we also have to go into NORTH KOREA and VENEZUELA!!!!_EVERYONE HAS TO GO AND FIGHT!!!

Of course the very rich and most politicians and their children will be exempt somehow. But all of us WIILL HAVE TO GO.

What do you think?

This model posits a traditional nuclear family, with the father having primary responsibility for supporting and protecting the family as well as the authority to set overall policy, to set strict rules for the behavior of children, and to enforce the rules. The mother has the day-to-day responsibility for the care of the house, raising the children, and upholding the father's authority. Children must respect and obey their parents; by doing so they build character, that is, self-discipline and self-reliance. Love and nurturance are, of course, a vital part of family life but can never outweigh parental authority, which is itself an expression of love and nurturance—tough love. Self-discipline, self-reliance, and respect for legitimate authority are the crucial things that children must learn.

Once children are mature, they are on their own and must depend on their acquired self-discipline to survive. Their self-reliance gives them authority over their own destinies.

The democratic argument: The concentration of wealth in a small group allows for anti-democratic influence of social policy. The wealthy have the ability to create their own "think tanks" and astro-turf front organizations. These are then used to create the perception that the public is in support of their self-serving objectives. Recent studies have shown how these techniques were used in the repeal of the estate tax debate as well as in the rise of new factions opposing the liberal social policies of the Episcopal church. When such vast amounts of money are under the control of a tiny group the basic mechanisms of democracy are undermined.

ever become President?

I mean the 2008 election is the biggest moment in women's history since women were granted the right to vote about 100 years ago and Oprah doesn't want Hilary to become President. Now there has got to be something very wrong w/ Hilary Clinton to make Oprah not want her to become the 1st Woman US President otherwise how else can you explain the #1 woman in America decision to go for a man like Obama?

I'd especially love to hear a female lib try to explain that one.

I recently filed a report against my aunt that is taking care of my father in Florida. I am in Texas. The lady with the Department of Elder said she could not tell me her findings. Why isn't this a public record? Or what can I do to make it public so I can see the findings myself?

He got sentenced to 23 months...will do 85% for good behavior plus he'll get 2-3 months off for substance program cause he got caught for smoking marijuana...everybody thought he was stupid for getting caught 4 smoking but he's a GENIOUS! His lawyer knew he would get that program- 1 cause he's a U.S citizen and 2 cause he got caught on purpose! Also he turned himself in early not cause he wanted to look good in the eyes of the justice..... its so he could get another month off of his time! I dont like Vick but he and his legal team did a wonderful job to get him out sooner...he probably wont even do a year....b out in a half way house in about a year or less and can go home on the weekends!

Do Americans have "enough"?
Do Americans have "enough" whether it is money, power, oil, or anything other you can think of?

Would you be satisfied with just enough, or do many Americans not have enough, or do we have too much? What are the environmental, social, and global consequences of how much each of us has and consumes? Who is responsible for deciding what is enough?

I didn't realize I had wrote my mom a check with a closed checking account. I should had shreaded them right away, but I didn't. I wrote the check thinking it was my good checking account. My mom got the returned check and said they took the money out of her account and charged her a fee. Since it was my fault, I agreed to pay her the 55 dollars that I owe her. Could I be arrested by my bank. I know its a crime to knowledgly write bad checks, but I did not do it intentionally.

deleted in a steady stream? Some people ask unimportant questions and never get deleted, and brag about that. Meanwhile, children are treated like second-class citizens and denied the opportunity to seek the truth when information is deleted. An idea starts with one person and becomes a majority popular idea only when others are allowed to consider it. Children are not senseless idiots though many treat them that way.
