China or England? We need to stop somewhere right? So shouldn't illegal just mean illegal? I understand why so many cross the Southern Border but we have to have limits don't we? Or should we just allow open migration? What do you think would happen if we did that?

Let's say someone just walks around the mall, window shopping for 3 hours, is this legal? It fits from what I could tell the definition of loitering, but I never heard of people getting kicked out of malls for such activity.

Iran stepped in and met with Afghanistan's war lords to talk to them about helping the US out. This happened directly ONE month before Bush's infamous speech about "Axis of Evil"

Interesting that you only heard about Iran helping the US in only European Countries...but yet our news was quite quiet about this fact.

Opinions? Thoughts?

But the thing is, it was like, 2:30 am and I had a Class D license because I hadn't gotten around to getting a Class C, so I wasn't legally allowed to drive after midnight at all. The cop didn't give me a ticket for that, though, which was really nice. Oh, and the other thing--I wasn't registered under the car I was driving because it was my friend's. He didn't say anything about that, either. Is that weird? Should I just suck it up with getting points on my license and having my insurance go up? I don't really have a strong case, do I? haha

Recently i have noticed a huge increase in the amount of pit bulls in my small town, it seems like everyone has one and everywhere i look i see more for sale. they roam the town freely and are free to intimidate everyone. we only have one dog catcher and our town has about 5 thousand people. i know of at 4 attacks in the last year becuase they were in the paper and i have heard of many more. they are killing cats and other dogs as well. what can i do to get the county to consider a ban on pit bulls?

P.S- i don't want to hear about how great you think they are i just want an answer.

I don't understand how the government is entitled to percentages of earned wages before the worker ever gets their check. This sounds A LOT like putting money into a central pot.....a bit like Communism......bottom line, you don't have a choice.

So it seems, that Bush is again trying to play the WMD game he played with iraq?

I'm appalled they still haven't learned any lesson from the iraqi WMD failure.

they can't chase you in your house because it is your property and you didn't consent to the search, and they need to let you go.

And if your hands are cuffed behind you, is it legal to get them in front of you?

say a bunch of people were sent to Iraq, and they did their job and everything, and they had to go back to their tents....what do they do? do they have any free time? do they joke around ever, or is it all just strictly "business"????

Why do they get to sleep? I don't and my job isn't nearly as important. If they get paid that ridiculous salary and have free retirement for life and medical and secret service protection how come they get to go on vacation all the dam time? I'm not talking just about any one brance, I mean everyone in all 3 branches. So, what if they're professionals. Last time I checked, most professionals work a 12+ hour day at least once per week.

I want their pay cut or I want more work out of them. Anyone else think they're overpaid and underworked?

Somebody that I worked with received a fake $100 bill. He was looking at it fairly closely and something looked off, but couldn't pin point it, so he entered it in the register and then gave the customer his changed. Right after he noticed it, but by then, the guy was gone. He notified my boss right away and handed it to the police to investigate. It was really a five dollar bill, turned in to 100, undetectable by the magic marker.

Lets say, he never noticed that the 100 dollar bill was counter fit and put it into the register. Then a customer wants $100 cash back when he/she does debit, and the customer ask if he has a $100 bill. The guy I work with then gives him/her the fake counterfeit $100 bill, will the person that got the money back get into trouble. If the mistake went unnoticed as it did and slipped by, then it could have been giving to someone that does has no idea it is counterfeit. Would they be arrested and then prosecuted. Would it stand up in court.

The Bush Administration’s National Security Adviser, Stephen Hadley, today stated that President Bush has known the results of the NIE Iran report for several months:

===

QUESTION: Steve, what is the first time the president was given the inkling that something? I’m not clear on this. Was it months ago, when the first information started to become available to intelligence agencies?

HADLEY: [W]hen was the president notified that there was new information available? We’ll try and get you a precise answer. As I say, it was, in my recollection, is in the last few months. Whether that’s October — August-September, we’ll try and get you an answer for that.

===

Yet, for the past few months Bush has been relentlessly beating the drum about Iran’s nuclear intentions and capabilities.

Or, maybe it’s just another case of the same “bad intelligence” that convinced him to invade Iraq.
