So it seems, that Bush is again trying to play the WMD game he played with iraq?

I'm appalled they still haven't learned any lesson from the iraqi WMD failure.

Bush has a right to be paranoid -- I don't mind paranoid fruitcakes -- but he does not have the right to be incompetent.

Dude you really need to start putting an "IQ Limit" on some of your questions ... something like "Only respond with your thoughts if your IQ is above 70" ... of course that would disqualify about 85 % of the answers you have received so far.

As for the report I find it profoundly sad and one more reason for the utter contempt I feel for Bush & Cheney. Just think ... if the NIE had had the balls to stand up to B&C in 2003 and tell the REAL truth about Iraq and its WMD "stockpiles" there would be what, 3000 + members of our armed services still alive and there wouldn't be thousands upon thousands of our brave defenders in hospital rooms all over the country missing body parts. How this man can sleep at night is beyond me.

IRONIC the same National interlligence estimate said that Iraq had WMDs in 2003. and it was a lie.

the same National interlligence estimate also says that they could FINISH building a Nuke by 2010. Geee.. that sounds like only 2 years from now

Its called a lack of credibility. Bush and his people got it all wrong with Iraq. Why should we believe him on Iran. This is why before you do something that represents the greatest country on earth you have an obligation to get it right and if your not completely sure, don't do it.

This would appear to be the same intelligence that you say lied about WMD's in Iraq. Why on Earth are you so quick to believe them now? Of course that is a rhetorical question, we all know the answer.

We know Iran has a nuclear program, and is working on it, what it's for is debated. The very idea of 'nuclear' anything in the hands of those nutjobs, weapons or no, is enough for concern, especially considering Iran's reputation and friends.

The report in my view said that the intelligence people writing it have no idea what is going on in Iran and they can't find out. Which means they need to retire and we need to find people who will take the matter seriously. These people are playing CYA and that has to stop.
