in a few days i have to do a debate on whether or not the Constitution was meant to only benefit the elites or help everyone.

my side is in support of the elites

does anyone know of any documents or evidence or even comments the other side might make because we have to counter what the say.

so i was just wondering if anyone knew any good arguments their side could make

i am very confused on this topic.
1) what was the reason that British troops invaded Ireland - supposedly to keep the peace and what not, but didn't something have to initiate that?
2) why didn't US intervene?
3) why didn't other countries intervene?!

oh and, the IRA.. were they a certain religion? all i know is that they didn't want Britain's involvement

please help. websites/citing would be even more superb.

I worked at a gas station a few months ago. They own three gas stations, including a Citgo. I live in Augusta, Georgia. Many nights they made me work by myself, I would work about 37 hours a week.. when I was training one girl we had a gas drive off, they took it out my paycheck. If a drawer was $5 short, they took it out my paycheck. They made me pay them $8 for drinking a fountain drink before they'd give me my last paycheck. We closed at 10 Pm I had paperwork they wouldn't pay me past 10PM though but wanted the paper work done. We weren't allowed to take breaks and I worked anywhere from a 9-10 hr. shift. They let us have a tab, so I wasn't mad about them taking that out my paycheck but they would take every little shortage out and yell at me all the time. They never showed me how to see if I was short sometimes they wouldn't tell me I was short just take it out. So about 37 hours = $50 paycheck. I want compensation, just not sure if this was legal or how 2 go about it?

A special escrow account would be set up...if less than $1 billion was raised, it would go to reduce the national debt. She would have to sign a contract agreeing never to seek or accept any form of elective or appointed political office.

So why do we continue using poorly armored hummers. Why can't we just recreate vehicles such as the Buffalo EOD vehicle to be a troop transport.

While he has been largely ignored by the major television networks and news outlets, Paul is now the top candidate in Republican straw polls, is setting fundraising records, and has become an "Internet sensation".

My car was towed last night from a private lot. While I did end up paying I'm wondering if I could've demanded and got the car back forcing them to pursue other routes to collect from me (ie bill me, collection agency, small claims etc).

To the utter and complete dismay of the Democrat party and those in the mainstream media, it now appears as though the surge is working.

Just last September, General Petraeus and his staff warned Democrats that things were getting better, and that even more progress could be expected as the surge continued to unfold.

But Democrats would have none of that.

What say you?

Or is that category too broad? Where can I find the statistics laid out for how the government's budget is spent?

I am looking for both percentages and actual dollar figures.

Thank you.

Also, if China is communist, how is there are people there becoming wealthy?

Isnt a communist society a classless society, where everyone is equal?
