He couldn't take the scrutiny of his positions in the national media. You clowns are lucky that he only gets his press on the Internet and doesn't have to answer the tough questions in front of too many people.
Questions like this.
Under a metal standard, how much would the US Dollar be devalued until the money flow had been stabilized?
Why did your supporters pick Guy Fawkes Day, which commemorates a Catholic terrorist's attempt to blow up British Parliament and the British King in an effort to put a Catholic king over Britain? A plan which had the backing of the Pope at the time, by the way. Doesn't having this fundraiser on this day that commemorates attempting to put a foreign power over Great Britain clash heavily with someone saying that they want to remove foreign influence America?
Why did you leave the Libertarian Party when in 1988 you were the presidential candidate and received just under half a million votes? Was it just to get elected, or have you changed from being a Libertarian to a Republican, and if so, what are the differences between a Republican and a Libertarian?
The list goes on and on. Trust me, you DON'T want Ron Paul to have the media outlets because they will ask him real questions, not the Rah-Rah bleep you people type on the Internet.
Oh, one more thing. Some folks have mentioned the straw poll thing. Who won the straw polls in Texas and Arizona? Well, in Texas, it depends on who you ask. According to Reuters, it's Duncan Hunter, as well as the Texas Republican Party's website. In Arizona, Duncan Hunter won again.
Yes, Ron Paul has won a few straw polls, however, please explain to me how a Texan can lose the Texas straw poll? I always look at things like that in this manner. If their own people don't want them, neither do I. They know more about him than me, and they extended their middle fingers at him.
Then there is the Iowa Straw Poll, which I took part in especially since it was where I live, in Ames, Iowa. Here's something some people don't really know. Did you know that Ron Paul supporters tried to get the vote cancelled at that straw poll? Yep, it would appear that a non-binding popularity contest at a state fundraiser what just a little bit too hairy for Ron Paul to handle. Oh, and finally, the Friday before the Straw Poll, a judge threw the stupid thing out so we could vote. The people in charge of the voting? Yeah, they are the Story County election officials who are in charge of the REAL voting in this county. So bleep you very much for inplying that the Story County election officials are just a bunch of hicks who couldn't find their butts with both hands and a hunting dog.
Oh, yes, and the "voting irregularities". Yep, tons of those accused by Ron Paul and his drones. One machine wasn't working right, and the ballots had to be hand counted. Now, if we go by the Ron Paul supporters, there was about 3,000 ballots in that ONE machine, and they magically disappeared, because that's the difference in the count that THEY say they had for votes versus what the ignorant hicks that are our Story County elections people said that he had. Oh, but the exit polls showed that Ron Paul WON!!! Well, clownboys, I voted there, and no one, and I mean NO ONE, asked me who I voted for, so what exit poll are they talking about? I voted at the largest voting place, Hilton Colusseum, and I didn't see any exit pollers there.
Oh, but Ron Paul did win the Virginia Straw poll. Yep, got him a whole 180some votes. Yeah, that would have put him just above Duncan Hunter in Iowa who didn't do so well and ended up third from the bottom.
Duncan Hunter is unelectable. I support him, and will caucus for him. I will be the last to leave his group, but in the end, I will most likely be forced to leave his group. I can accept my fate.
Why can't you Ron Paul people accept yours? It's the same as mine.

i'm no longer prepared on the corporate media the two, they are all in mattress with capitalism and that they do in spite of it takes to sell earnings and unfold rumors. yet CNN has a piece of writing on authentic now that exhibits that Ron Paul has been prevailing particularly some polls. they have additionally invited Ron Paul on countless situations. the information anchors like Anderson Cooper all sh*tted on him and that i presumed it replaced into enormously humorous, using fact Ron Paul is a moronic little previous guy. whether, your nationalist rhetoric relating to the Jews merits no help or exposure. I easily have considered countless anti-Semitic posts from you and this is downright disgusting in my view.

.Ron Paul wins the most straw polls
.Ron Paul has the MOST donations of any Republicans, more than Giuliani, Romney Thompson, McCain, and Huckabee
.Ron Paul could best follow the Presidential oath
Mainstream media dislikes the Constitutional part. They have billion dollar interests in Washington insiders winning. Those same names that have been promoted since long before talk of the 08 election.
Before you quote some poll %.
WHAT REPUBLICAN HAS TAKEN IN THE MOST DONATIONS?

I concede the two party system is problematic in this respect.
However...
1. His supporters trivilize him.
2. His candor is a far cry from presidential. I was surpsied at his poor showing Wednesday. I expected a solid preformance I could just disagree with,, he was a lot shakier than I expected for an idealist.
3. His solutions are about as effective a solutions as the National Conventio in Revolutionary France. A bunch of ideologues trying to implement insane legislation with no basis in reality.
6 Thumbs down ;)

Ya-Know, I remember when the news media & rich elite classes of people hated the young singer named Elvis Presley also.
But only one endorsement from an old respected T. V. host named Ed Sulliven on national T.V. catapaulted Elvis into the international spotlight, where his name became more well known than any other celibrity on planet earth, including the then President Eisinhower.
Ron Paul is the Newest American political Icon, with ever growing popularity worldwide:

Major TV stations are going to cover whatever candidates will bring in the viewers. If Ron Paul shows himself to be a viable contender, the networks will cover his campaign. That must not have happened yet. When Ross Perot ran, I think he got as much coverage as the candidates from the 2 main parties.

It's because he has less than 5% of the vote. Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo also don't get any coverage and Mitt Romney gets a lot of negative stories while only puff pieces are written about Huckabee. The press puts their biases into their coverage.

Because the fact that he has the most financial backing of any of the candidates means nothing when his message comes across.
He's got the right idea, but the major news networks aren't gonna like it.

Republican's do not make it in the liberal news media unless it is negative.
So unless the Republicans are paying for an advertisement for their campaign - you do not hear of them.
