Then why do people mock Ron Paul? All his ideas are from the constitution.

A true patriot follows and protects the constitution - not CHANGE it.

It would be nice to have a three party system, but will be a ways off. The thing I notice about rep. Paul is he seems a little off balance or taken back. Granted he is not an actro, yet he has been around. He should do better in the ong run, but I just not sure if I would have allow Sen. McCain to throw up the WWII deal without looking at him and telling him it is a little different don't you think sir! We will see. Then again there's a huge smear cmapaign against him it seems and the big money is backing the others, so it will be interesting.
glad he got the Lib thing out of the way. tAke care.

Yes. True patriots are those who follow the constitution, but perhaps more importantly they want the government to serve the people of this country, not another country. I have a problem with both of our political parties having such strong ties with a foreign lobby like AIPAC, which can only constitute a conflict of interest on the part of our elected officials. It really will be nice to have a president who will be a true public servant and represent the wants and needs of our own people for a change. How can we continue to call ourselves a democracy if we don't elect someone who will represent US? I think we're really due for a man of integrity like Ron Paul ESPECIALLY at a time in our history where we need to heal and put our country and our global standing back together again.
ps I've been enjoying your q's and a's for a while now. I'm adding you to my contacts.

You mean except Article I, Section 8 and the 16th Amendment?

How does Ron Paul's tax policy fit those pesky things above?

What i locate a snigger is that i've got heard the two liberals and conservatives (Glenn Beck, for one, consists of suggestions) consult from Paul's base as "anarchists"! Becca has a factor: you ought to be an agitator to get what you elect! Our founders did not propose for us to blindly acquiesce alongside with the form. the place might women human beings and minorities be at present if not for the social movements that inspired the fifteenth and nineteenth amendments? i ask your self, precisely, how Paul might have dealt with frictions interior the South for the period of 50s and 60s? might he have achieved the comparable issues as Johnson and Kennedy with regard to armed forces action for the period of desegregation? Or might he have only allowed the States to proceed with their "separate yet equivalent" doctrines?

No, technically a true Patriot is one who would blindly follow and obey his country, for better or for worse. Just going by the definition.

Yes. The constitution as it was written. Not the one perverted by legions of crooked lawyers and judges looking for loopholes.

He is great, Im not sure about being completely isolationist, but China seems to be doing very well. Personally, I'm more into Bigger Ethical Competent Government.

He is much better then what we have and I think he would do a pretty good job as far as I know about him.

His ideas may be from the constitution, but his ideas on implementation seem naive. He appears to be tilting at windmills.
