Once outlawed for being used as seditious weapons of war.

Now, bagpipes have been blasted as an environmental menace.

Over-intensive logging means that the African wood used to make Scotland's national instrument faces being wiped out.

I guess they haven't heard of tree farms.

Humans are a threat to the environment. We need to drink the cool aid and save the world. I'll play Amazing Grace on my pipes when all the people are gone.

It's another case of the "politically correct" getting their press. The gripe is the over logging of African forrests. Because african blackwood is used in pipes, the Scots are a fair target. Hence, the plant trees campaign. I haven't heard that clarinetists are a threat to the environment or any other instrument using blackwood. The bigger threat is the cow herds and the increased production of methane.

Business Opportunity!!!!

Tell the libs that you only use pruned branches that are gently removed by Hillary supporting Arborists while playing Gregorian chants to the trees to help them adjust to the pruning.

Kinda like a tree haircut.

Now you're recycling!!

Happy tooting.

...the only "environmental" concern that I've heard about, is concerning the "Scott" playing the Bagpipes... "if" he's wearing a Kilt and has "nothing" on under the "Kilt", sometimes it can get a bit "ripe" down-wind laddie...
