Parliament can easily pass laws unlike in a bicameral legislature when the bills pass through many processes.

The advantage, is that they can get rid of them if they are not doing their job by a vote of no confidence! However, since I don't live under this type of government, I don't know how much this disrupts the running of the country.

Unity between the executive and the legislative branches. Since they are one and the same, there is a minimum of friction between the two.
