to america. I know GW screwed up by not taking up this issue but he screwed up lots of ways. Like giving up on reforming social security, so please answer the question without that neocon bs. I am a conservative but disagree with GW.

that we should befriend more Arab countries even if it means turning our back on Israel. Somebody who heard it also said Bush said that he would not be seen holding a Jews hand.

This is a serious question.

Tonight on O'Reilly, a DNC Strategist said this is a major part of their campaign efforts.

Is it fair that our president is now (as always) being singled out for targeting in this way, for this purpose?

i am a war historian, and the second world war is my fav subject, in that war the bravery and courage of the soviet soldier was what defeated hitler and nazi germany, Hitler had nearly 2 million of his best troops and armour and air force on the eastern front to fight the soviets, while only haveing a measley 500.000 in the western front, on the eastern front the soviets fought house to house and had to hand battles, while on the western front the u.s and it's allies used aierl bombings form a safe high distance tactic, and even now in iraq...when a group of fighters start shooting at u.s forces from a house, instead of going in to raid the position with infantry they call in air strikes which results in killing may many civillians. This kind of cowardly tactic is used by america in iraq and afghanistan everyday,No wonder the iraqi civillian death rate is in the hundreds of thousands.

American exceptionalism has been historically referred to as the belief that the United States differs qualitatively from other developed nations, because of its national credo, historical evolution, or distinctive political and religious institutions
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_exceptionalism

Instead of whining about how the US is the best, why don't they emulate us and thereby improve their own country? No one told them to embrace inferior systems of government and economics....that was entirely THEIR CHOICE! It's not like there's any huge secret how we do it

The recipe for Greatness is there for anyone to read. It's called the US Constitution:

Pearl Harbour and 9/11 (if 911 can be classed as a military attack) are the only instances that come to my mind, against which it seems the US is always in conflict somewhere on the globe. Am I mistaken?

Okay, my Great-Aunt (by marriage) wrote a wonderful book back in the early 1990's. I had a copy of the book and just a couple of years ago, picked it up and read it. I was so inspired by the book that I thought it would make a great movie. I wrote a script for the book to submit to a film-making company...(dreaming big). Anyway, when the film company sent me the form to sign, it said that it had to be my original work. Well, the script is by me, but the book it is based off of is not. Both my Great-Aunt and Great-Uncle are deceased and I have no idea how to contact any heirs of theirs, since they died when I was young.
So my question is...
Would it be legal for me to submit this script, or do I need to clear it through heirs of my Great-Aunt?

I got fobbed off with a fake DVD from an e-bay seller. I'm in the UK and the seller was in the US. I went back to them to complain, but they are not being that helpful, saying I can send it back for a refund for the DVD (by the time I pay postage & pay-pal I'll be lucky to end up with £1 left !!!)

Now they say the DVD was not available in the US, but it is still clearly a fake - Is this legal for them to do this? Other than Pay-pal / e-bay is there anyone else I can take this to?

I was recently informed that because I was put on a3 week part-time (temporary schedule) that I was supposed to miss a pay but because the documentation was submitted late I got paid when I shouldnt have(mind you I was told the day before my direct deposit). I was never made aware that I was going to miss a pay nor has proper documentation been given to me still that this is the case, and when I requested info I was told that if I didnt sign a letter saying I agree that I would be fired. My check was 944.00 and they are requiring me to pay them 1166.00. No one can explain it to me and they also dont know where my incentive pay is that I was supposed to recieve that was well over 250.00 dollars. I was forced to sign papers that I didnt feel were legitimate or lose my job is this cause for a lawsuit ?

I admit, for a while I was a bit befuddled as to how so many people hate Hillary Clinton for being completely contradictory things. Some people hate her because she is a communist/socialists while others hate her because she in bed with corporations. Some people hate her because she's pro-war while others hate her for being anti-military. Some people think she staged a hostage crisis while others think that's absurd. Some think she's too emotional to be president while others feel she is a cold fish, and the list goes on.

I then remember reading something about a trickster god Eshu and ones of his tricks he played on a village, and it occured to me that that is the solution. Hillary must be some sort of trickster goddess to be able to fool so many people into believing opposite things about her. Maybe her goal isn't necessarily to become president, but only to cause as much strife as possible. What does everyone else think?

Below is a description of Eshu's trick from Wikipedia:
