Tonight on O'Reilly, a DNC Strategist said this is a major part of their campaign efforts.

Is it fair that our president is now (as always) being singled out for targeting in this way, for this purpose?

I have been going through all the debates on youtube and yes that seems to be a pervasive topic.
The thing is ... people want answers, they want to hear a candidates ideas and specific plans on how they would fix things.
Hearing about someones opinion on how Bush screwed it up, true or not, does not move the US forward.
So if your pandering to the I hate Bush crowd I guess that is all well and good, but otherwise, its a strategy that will fail because as I said thats not what most people are looking for.

Bush invaded Iraq all on his very own and over the objections of lots of international locations. Obama "did Libya" on the request of the NATO international locations and the Arab League. He did no longer fake that we mandatory to invade Libya considering they had weapons of mass destruction and have been to blame for 9/11. That became right into a lie. And he hasn't invaded Libya in any respect. some drones are being controlled by using Air rigidity officers out at Nellis AFB, hundreds of miles remote from Libya. that does no longer characterize an invasion.

All the democrats have is a "Hate Bush" and "Lose In Iraq" platform. They have been using these two themes for the last 7 years. Someone should tell them that Bush isn't running in '08.

It is called politics, goes on on both sides of the Isle

If you'd take your partisan hat off for a while, you'd realize that and also realize that O'Reilly is feeding you a load of partisan crap.

I used to be a Rush Ditto Head till I figured out he was only giving one side and 50% of the time it was wrong, twisted, or lies and the other 50% I had no idea if it was factual because of the prior 50%.

It would do you well to understand that.

Peace

Jim

I'm glad you pointed out that 08 is not the only year people have slammed someone they aren't running against.
Is it fair? I think that it is fair to contrast your ideas with that of the current climate. I mean that just says your pro-change. almost everyone runs on change. But I think that there is a point which is frequently reached where they are attacking the man and not his policies, that is not fair.

Someone ought to have been bringing this up a long time ago. Maybe the media and networks should have been more truthful about how bad the Bush administration actually was.

Other than giving lip service to social issues, the Democrats are not much better. Both parties have sold out the average American to special interests. Who cares if the Democrats are going on a Hate Bush theme. Everyone already hates Bush. Why don't they work on positive programs like universal health care coverage.

Wait... I already answered my own question. Democrats are only giving lip service to social progress.

Bush personifies the unjustifiable and unprovoked Iraq war, though his own party and several of his advisers were all responsible. He is the President and hence he has to own it.

Other nations, who were principal allies in Iraq War , have named and got rid of them - Tony Blair ( Britain ) and john Howard ( Australia ).

Only way president Bush can resurrect his own image is if he can get the prominent terrorists arrested / done away with.

And have you heard what Chuck Hagel had to say about idiot Bush?
And he is a 'Democrat'? LMAO.

(And are there real 'DNC strategists' on the O'Reilly show? Please! Kirsten Powers? LMOA again.)

I don't hate Bush, I just think he is incompetent, and no matter how much the current crop of repub candidates claim that they will be different, they will all follow the same foolish repup/conservative polices that never work.

Free market economics simply do not work, they always lead to higher debt, white collar corruption, boom bust economic swings, decline of the middle class, and a bad image for the U.S..

I doubt it will work, even some Democrats may wake up and realize that Bush is not running.
