I will remind you that the U.S. offers more personal freedoms to its citizens (and non-citizens) than any other country in the world.
I will remind you that the U.S. offers more foreign aid, in the form of medicine and research to combat disease, food to combat hunger, money to combat poverty, etc. than ANY other country in the world. No nation has ever done as much to protect human rights, both domestically and abroad than the U.S. has.
Think of how many lives has the U.S. government saved and/or improved because of our involvement?
That's right, our intervention NEVER solved anything... Oh, Except Nazism, Totalitarianism, Facism, Communism, and genocide.
I will remind you that it was because of U.S. intervention that millions of people did not become ash in the bottom of Hitler's furaces.
Because we have so much and because we are willing to contribute so much, we have taken on a responsibility that no one else on this earth cared to do. With responsibility though, comes power. For that, you are jealous.
Other Nations want and take everything they are offered from the U.S., from money, to food, to the lives of our soldier who have fought and died for them, but they resent us for the stature which we have achieved.

I think there are people from all nations can believe this about their homeland,Americans can be singled out only because America is the worlds focus of attention for better or worse ! I would say America has an integration policy that is exceptional compared to Europe for example, but at the same time Americans can learn much from the world ,and the world can learn much from each other !

The USA is unique in that it is the melting pot of so many immigrants from so many nations. Diversity is it's wealth. The USA is unique in that it was the first country to have enforced the French philosophers' principle of freedom and equality. The USA is unique in that it is the strongest military power in the world.
All of this makes it its blessing but also its cursing. The human nature is to support David rather than Goliath.
Greetings from Norway, the country the United Nations voted the best to live in.

Only exceptional in that it is probably the most powerful nation on earth today.
Unexceptional when compared to achievements, arrogance, greed and cruelty of previous great "empires".
Viz. Egyptian, Hittite, Roman, Islamic, Catholic, Mayan, British and Nazi for starters.

Yes. Think about it: in no other time in human history, nor in any other place, has a common person lived so well. I'm not denying that there are any problems, but we should appreciate how good we have it.
