I'm in high school and a junior, but I'm leaving for boot camp this summer. (army) I'm in a relationship and I don't know why I'm worrying now instead of later, but w/e. I'm worried it's going to be too much for her and she'll leave me in the middle of it. I don't want to stress about that while there, so what advice can you give me? What should I do, and has anyone had a similar split op experience?

Plaintiff filed a civil suit for real property against her ex-boyfriend last year (11/2006), (and has refused to move and is living free there) trial date set 11/26/07. 12 days prior, she let go of her attorney, or he quit. She hired a new one 11/14/07. He wanted a continuance to 3/24/08, but defendant lawyer refused unless conditions were met, and only continued to 12/17/07. Plaintiff's attorney agreed. The conditions so far have not be honored, plaintiff has refused. What possible ramifications are there from a case where the plaintiff doesn't honor court ordered conditions?

I just found out that I am to start getting VA disabilty and was wondering how much a month that would be? I was rated at 20% as an E4 (Army) with 4 yrs service.
I know the answer is in the packet that was sent to me but I am out of town and wont be home for a while, and I'm really curious!

Tasers are much more humaine than any of the previous generation submission tools the police have. I am sick of hearing people talk about weather or not the police should or should not have done this or that with the damn tasers

I am in the US Marines (security forces), and we don't have tasers, when a civilian that fusses with us gets out of line, we pull our ASP and start breaking bones........I would be happy getting jolted with electricity knowing the alternative.

would there have been a public outcry if Rodney king was subdued with a taser and not the beating he took (although he deserved it)

It seems to me that 99% of his supporters only seem to hear how he is against the war and stop listening after that...

He is far far right on everything else.

IE) During the last Republican debate, he mentioned cutting the Department of Education. You don't get much farther to the right than that without falling off the edge.

My boyfriend found that all of his Christmas presents were stolen yesterday. There was no sign of forced entry and the door was locked when he arrived home. The day before he found them missing, apartment workers were replacing his refridgerator. No one but my boyfriend has a key to the apartment, aside from the apartment complex. He called the police and they talked to the apartment complex and filed a report. His renters insurance doesn't cover stolen items. What are his options?

I ask because in nearly every county in the southern states I have seen a statue to a confederate general, leader, or other officer and a confederate flag on the statue. They mostly appear outside of county courthouses.

I'm thinking the Union won that war, but the southerns held onto their "beliefs" via symbols and such are they not traitors to our country?

It was easily determined in recent news sources that at least a half dozen participants asking questions of the Democratic hopefuls had ties to the democratic party. Considering the questions raised from the last Democratic debate, can the candidates possibly sweep this one under the rug as well or will the general public question this issue.
