No, a foundational element of our countries strength is educating everyone. Take away funding from public schools = more inferior public schools that = more ignorant kids who run around undereducated. Tax benefits for privately schooled children is nothing more than a tax benefit for the wealthy at the expense of educating the majority of the citizens. It is simply this - racism and greed.

No, this is simply a personal choice.
Our public schools are just that - public.
It's kind of like getting tax breaks if one chooses to not own a vehicle - therefore not paying taxes that fund our highways.
Where would it stop? Tax breaks if one chooses to not support the war? More breaks if one decides OSHA or the USDA isn't to his or her liking?
It would be pure anarchy if public projects were taxed per percentage of usage or priority by every single individual.

The state of Pennsylvania DOES give tax breaks to private and homeschooled students. Because most of the school taxes you pay are state and local taxes. This is not a federal issue.

No, they made the choice to put their kids in private schools. There are good public schools out there so the family doesn't have to opt for a private school which would just produce an economic burden.

I think they should not give benefits but give breaks from taxes that go to the horrible public schooling education.

Yes. Forcing families to pay for a school system which their children are not a part of makes no sense whatsoever. I say that having recieved all my education in public schools.
