It seems that no matter what negative reports people or the press report here on y/a there is always and I mean always a viable explanation for Ron Pauls or his campaigns actions which makes him seem to be a better candidate once all the facts are on the table - do you believe this to be true ? Or do you think he is like the rest of the candidates with secrets and doublespeak (if so why?)

I have always been concerned about the bigger picture, and seek out those who stand by moral ideals and are in effect the best candidates available. My endorsement is for Mitt Romney, a moral man who best represents the conservative ideals I espouse. Why can't some of you see that bigger picture and unite behind him on this? I understand the liberals if they don't care for Romney, but to be divisive amongst conservatives like this because of the erroneous notion that the LDS are not Christian is damaging to the overall cause of defending God's place in this country. Pat Robertson, as right as it gets, endorses Giuliani, who is the most left of the GOP candidates, all because he fears that having a 'Mormon' president further legitimizes the faith. How sad a methodology in selecting a candidate.

I heard from someone that professional teachers have special licenses that allow them to teach students to drive even if they do not have their permits on them at the moment. I have my permit, and my driving instructor is coming this afternoon. She has a picture of my permit as well as the license number etc., so do you think i will still be able to drive even though i don't have it with me?

She is a 3rd year law student - only a few more months until she graduates with high marks. She has been involved with a group of law students that helps immigrants, they do pro bono work for immigrants legal or not. So she started dating this guy who wants to bring over his 12-yr old daughter. This girl is being raised by her grandmother who is sick & can't take care of her anymore. She wants to live w/ her dad and attend school in the US. So he is pressuring my sister to drive to Mexico, pick up the kid, & drive her across the border with false papers. I think he is using her (since she has a passport, valid drivers license) rather than paying a coyote. So I want to know what are the reprecussions for transporting an illegal child across the border? Can she go to jail? I am certain she won't be able to practice law. I would like to scare her into NOT doing this, she thinks she is living in a bubble world and can't be touched..this guy has convinced her it's the "just" thing to do!!

Father has never had anything to do with the child. She is almost 1 now and me and the father have not been "dating" the entire time. I've had a restraining order against him this whole time as well. Since we weren't married does he have any rights at all? I'm just curious as to what the laws are. Every lawyer i've tried to contact avoids giving me any answers. So i turn to you.....

So...do you think there will be a collective "snapping of the heads" to attention? A blinking and rubbing of the eyes like they've been bewitched for eight years?

Iraq is a graveyard for optimism, but it is hard not to feel at least a tremor of hope after spending an afternoon like I just did, in a Baghdad neighborhood that was once one of the deadliest in this blood-soaked country. It is called Ameriyah, and to give you an example, last May 14 American soldiers were killed there in a series of attacks, seven in a single day. Al Queda was everywhere in this predominantly Sunni neighborhood, its death squads terrorizing the minority Shiites, imposing strict Islamic law and killing between 15 and 20 civilians a week.

Huckabee calls climate change "a spiritual issue."

"We ought to be moving rapidly toward energy resources that don't have a greenhouse gas effect."

Last spring, Thompson seemed to mock the issue. More recently, as a presidential candidate, he has said global warming is real.

At a town hall meeting in New Hampshire in October, Giuliani said: "Yes, global warming is happening. Yes, human beings are contributing to it. No, it is not an hysterical emergency that has to be dealt with...it should be dealt with as a long-term emergency in a sensible, mature sound way in which we allow our economy to grow."

McCain favors caps on greenhouse gas emissions, a "cap and trade" policy as a market-based way to spur industries to take action, and higher fuel standards for vehicles. He has been highly critical of the Bush Administration on global warming.

I got insurance now but the damage is done. I am a good person , I work hard.help me with advice . To get more infomation on my previous funeral procession Question car accident question

The car was towards the middle of the procession the lead Hearse was had gone through the light. The other card flipped (SUV) upon impact which to me shows that it was attempting to speed through the intersection, other cars where waiting allowing for the procession to pass.

From my findings on the net its saying the funeral procession has the right of way if there as long as the lead vechical is obeying traffic signal

The officer did infact give my party the traffic tickets when we showed prof that we were in a funeral procession.

I think the fact that the other drivers car flipped & was seriousley hurt factored into this but I'm not sure.

the officer spoke to a nonbiased witness who stated there was a gap

does a gap in a funeral procession allow another car to cut through. I wouldnt think so but I'm why I'm asking

When Israel was formed the Other Arab countries told the palestinians to get out, so they won't be in the way when they destroy Israel. I'm wondering do so many people hate Israel because they exist and are Intolerant of the facts? Everyone talks about the Palestinians suffering, but they seem to forget that it is the other Arab Countries that have beaten up the Palestinians and have caused them to suffer throughout the years and not Israel. I guess people seem to ignore what is really going on, because they have all the oil. Or is there another reason? The other Arab countries have more then 200 times the land that Israel does, so instead of trying to take away what little Israel has, why don't the other Arab countries open up there land to the Palestinians?

If we faced a situation that was similar to the second world war. How many young british men would stand up to the aggresor. Many older people seem to think we are all to soft and we would not last 10 minutes. I say this in light of the present conflicts we face where no one knows what to think. But in a black and white situtation like fighting the Nazis, what would you do?
