Every sailor receives Basic Fire fighting training in the navy. If this is what you are interested in tell you recruiter. Do some research on the Navy rate DC, which is damage control. Also keep in mind, once you are active duty, you can become a local volunteer fire fighter int the are you are stationed. This will give you more e training in the field. Research research research. Alot of time the recruiters are not AL helpful as they should be. Get on line and dig. Google "Navy times magazine" and navy one online" Good luck

Don't think the Air Force has ever had to fight a major fire aboard an Aircraft carrier or ship board fire.
The Navy firefighters have plenty of times. Ship board fire you either put it out or die.
So I'd say the Navy has the better firefighting by necessity.

That is especially true when the Jarheads show up for their annual carrier landing qualifications.

They Navy has some of the best fire fighter training I know of. Not to say the Air Force let's their bases burn down. I know a Air Force fire fighter and he is very knowledgable.

What should you do? Stop asking the same question again and again and READ the answers. One quality a fire fighter needs over any other is patience.

At the voluntary fire dept. in my hometown, almost every single one of those guys is prior Navy...

decide which you want more: to be a sailor, or to get comparable civilian FF skills. you can't have both.
