Do driving teachers have special licenses?

I heard from someone that professional teachers have special licenses that allow them to teach students to drive even if they do not have their permits on them at the moment. I have my permit, and my driving instructor is coming this afternoon. She has a picture of my permit as well as the license number etc., so do you think i will still be able to drive even though i don't have it with me?

Driving instructors in most states must have an instructors license to teach driving for a fee. Their license does not remove your requirement to have your license with you.
