He going 2 Iraq. Said that he didn't want a commitment until after Iraq b/c the war would change him. I TOTALLY understand that. Then he found out how incredibly dysfunctional my fam really is & they tried threatening his military officer career. He said my fam scared him b/c of the prob they may cause. He wants me to write him in Iraq & I understand that he has been distant for the last 3 wks b/c of going to war, but I just don't know if I should WAIT 4 him or not. Before the stuff w/my family he said he'd wait 4 me and I could wait 4 him. Now there is no talk of a future and he just says he is "an a@@ of a friend, b/c he doesn't know where his career will lead him after Iraq or what he will be like after war--is friends all we'll EVER be? I REALLY LOVE HIM and am trying to guard my heart. If I WAIT & he says NO then I could have missed the man of my dreams here in the US. If I DON'T WAIT and he says YES I could miss him-the REAL MAN OF MY DREAMS-->HIM. Should I wait???

If you were in attendance at the Super Bowl XLV in Dallas, Texas in 2011 and Former President of the United States of America George W. Bush gave the coin toss at the Super Bowl?

If Bush gave the coin toss, I would shout out "You Were An Awesome President George" because Bush is an Awesome President who had a heart for serving the American People.

Maybe 10% sales tax on all goods?

Since its all going on credit you basically are adding a future tax, why not pay it now instead of adding interest to it?

Because, I for one, am. And I can't help but laugh at every time I see "Public schools are full of socialist propaganda." Everyday, there is some fundraiser, or some BUSINESS sponsered event. There's always are those school sold rings that cost over $100. Candyman fundraisers? Every year.

From my state's Civics and Economics text book, there is a line in there that says "...but China is Communist so we must be watchful." Where's the pro-socialism there? The preceding sentence in that book said that China is a good ally to the US partly due to strong trade. Anti-capitalism? I don't see any. And this isn't the only example. Not that I have anything against the book.

And I know that there will be all kinds of deflections to the question, as most of us Yahooligans are so fond of doing, but the question still stands. For those who are picky about questions format.

And this applies to all of the public schools I've been too. 2 Elementary. 2 Middle. 2 High. And now an Early College.

Hillary is now losing in national polls versus all leading Republicans.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071126/pl_nm/usa_politics_poll_dc;_ylt=AqEl8.JA2bVxjjxUqZoPh0.s0NUE

I don't care if Hillary wins the Democratic nomination or if Edwards or Shaquille O'neal does.

Alternative choices are:

1. A cross-dressing pro-abortion man who married his cousin and annulled it after 12 years (Rudy Giuliani).
2. A mormon who used to think exactly the opposite of everything he currently says (Mitt Romney).
3. A former Baptist preacher with a name that would make me cringe every time I heard it..... President Huckabee.....
4. A man that doesn't even look like he wants to be President (Fred Thompson).
5. A man that first said he is against everything Bush is for then said he's all for it. Also called Vietnamese people gooks (John McCain).

I'm completely at a loss. Our country is so screwed. Is it not obvious to everyone what a Republican will do to this country if elected?

*sings*

When a man's an empty kettle
He should be on his mettle
And yet I'm torn apart
Just because I'm presumin'
That I could be kind of human
If I only had a heart

I'd be tender, I'd be gentle
And awful sentimental
Regarding love and art
I'd be friends with the sparrows
And the boy that shoots the arrows
If I only had a heart.

I guess Cheney had an irregular heartbeat that needed fixing today and the song just jumped into my head.

Trying to operate on Cheney's heart has to be as difficult as performing brain surgery on Jessica Simpson.

With all the Latino immigrant bashing from Lou Dobbs and others... is that only pissing Latino immigrants off and getting them to get out to vote.
Most Latinos are legal. But legal or illegal, most Latinos DO NOT liked to be lumped as illegal, uneducated, diseased or criminals.

I have found three past inmates living in a small town in Ohio that all tell me this same fact. All three were approved prior to release from prison. Two of the three got total mental disability and the third got partial mental disability. All started receiving checks one month after release. These three men are ages 24, 28 and 32. Is there something wrong with this picture? DUH !!!

I own a small taxicab business in West Des Moines, IA (3 cabs). The actual city of Des Moines will not permit me to pick up my customers there. Des Moines itself only has one cab company. Unfortunatly Des Moines is where all the big hotels are located as well as the Airport & Greyhound. The city's reason is that I need to own at least 10 cabs, each cab has to be insured for 1.5 million each. I have to operate a 24/7 staffed facility. The local news did a story on my situation. When they asked a few of the city council members why, they actually said " it's to protect our cab company from new competition" My cabs are new, updated, english speaking/ hard working Americans. We already operate a 24 hour cab service. 90 % of our business comes in via telephone. The other 10% are flag downs. I have been in business for a year and a half. Is this an illegal monopoly? Are there any loop holes? My hands are tied! PLEASE HELP!

I'm from Australia and I'm curious as we have recently held an election. Here we have an opposition leader who is the only other candidate for the position of Prime Minister. There are many more candidates in the US presidential election and I'm wondering how they are narrowed down to two candidates by the time the election arrives.
