Why might the Supreme Court feel less political pressure than Congress in making judgements about the Constitution?

Supreme Court justices are lifetime appointees; they can't be fired by the public if they make decisions that are unpopular. Congressmen come up for re-election every few years, and so the voters can get them out, and they know that.

Supreme Court has judicial review. This allows them to deem laws unconstitutional. All they do is basically make sure everyone is following the constitution

because the supreme court doesnt have the politcal posturing and grandstanding of harry reid and nancypelosiand the liberal extremists to contend with, they deal with fact as it relates to society. the pelosi/reid regime are tied to a constiuency who deals with facts not as they are, but as pollsters dictate they should be.
