Who cares, I love Lou Dobbs and he speaks the truth.
If you don't like his show and don't want to hear the truth about the future of America, don't watch his show. It's that easy.
Any educated American knows Lou Dobbs is the farthest thing from racist, but I don't think he cares what most people think.

They are playing on what they see as the immigrant bashing, and the race card, and some powerful Latino interests organizations are banding together. Along with the Latino media, such as Univision, the largest.
Even if one says that most legal Latino immigrants do not want illegal aliens here, they do want such things as the dream act, a sneaky pathway to amnesty.
However, most of the country is pissed off with illegal aliens and anything that will create a pathway to amnesty, so we will see what happens. We have become just as outraged with their demonstrations. In Prince William county, Latinos are boycotting businesses who do not cater specifically to Latinos, because PWC wants to end public services to illegal aliens. These protesters are not illegals.
The boycott will not make much of a difference, as the majority of the county wants this.
So more than just immigrant bashing is the culprit. It's not exactly true that legal immigrants do not want to stand up for illegals.

It isn't latino immigrant bashing. We are protesting illegal immigration, regardless of race or nationality of the illegals. Having a large group of illegal aliens from one particular area does not magically give them rights that they would not otherwise have. Plenty of Hispanic citizens and legal immigrants are against illegal immigration. And I hope everyone that is entitled to vote does so.

If they're smart, they'll vote for candidates who are anti-illegal, especially those that want heavy control of the southern border: the fewer illegals, and the smaller the proportion of them coming from south of the border, the less of an impact they'll have on the broader reputation of American citizens of Latino ancestry.

40% of Latino voters in Arizona voted for Proposition 200 to cut off benefits for illegal immigrants.
So even if they vote, do you think you know HOW they will vote?

It could, but voting on a single special interest issue is not a good reason to vote.
Immigrants who become naturalized citizens have the right to vote, but their vote should be based on what is best for the country not emotional hot buttons.
